Please help me with teething. Or, at least I'm pretty sure that's what's going on? I've tried all the teeters we have (three different types) frozen wash cloth... Tylenol... none of it seems to soothe him... He's drooly, has his hands in his mouth all the time and I see white bulges along his gums. He is also wanting to sleep a lot... But really fussy when going to sleep. I'm lost and have a super sad baby I can't seem to help. He's so fussy, he's usually such a easy, happy baby. Wondering if maybe it's not teething? Sigh. I read oragel and clove oil are not really safe for babes as young as him (4 months) so I haven't tried those.
Aw, I wish I had a magic teething solution, but I don't. Unfortunately, what seems to help us most is Advil (which you can't give yet) at bedtime if she seems really fussy, and lots of teethers during the daytime.
Hopefully those white bulges will break through and you'll get some peace.
Keep doing the Tylenol. It won't fix everything but it will help reduce the pain.
Other than that and the frozen teethers, there isn't much else you can do to help soothe. Once you start solids, these mesh feeders are great to put frozen fruit in for teething, but he's so tiny right now there isn't much else you can do.

Yea, most of the advice I've seen/gotten seems to be for older teethers. Give a bagel! Give a Popsicle! Umm no.
oh, and ditto the PP who said ibuprofen/Advil once he hits 6 months. It lasts quite a bit longer than Tylenol so it will get you better sleep overnight.
Following. Our 4 month old seems to be in the early stages of teething (lots of drool, hands in the mouth constantly, slightly more fussy than usual, red checks, etc.) but we haven't seen any signs of teeth yet.
We have multiple teethers but she doesn't seem to want to hold them for more than a few seconds. She does love putting blankets in her mouth so maybe I'll try the frozen wash cloth idea.

DD loves the silicone toothbrushes - the banana one, and another with brushes on that I picked up at target. www.amazon.com/dp/B0074V6LO2/ref=twister_B002U73L3Y?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 kind of like this. She also likes to chew on the Gerber cloth diapers or other muslin (A&A blanket, sleep sack, etc.) She doesn't like cold things, though, so I just let her chew on the dry, room temp ones and she's happy as a clam.

I wish I could find something that seemed to make him happy. Seriously at my wits end.

100% same here. DS is 4 months as well, and is doing the same thing.
