I have all the books I could need, and what more could I need than books? I shall only engage in commerce if books are the coin. -- Catherynne M. Valente

He reminds me so much of Shane Smith a guy who rescued Hope (who was laying in a dog shelter with her neck sliced..sadly she passed away) and now works on getting kill shelters to either do away with euthanasia all together or to offer week or month long pardons so that he can work on getting as many animals adopted out as possible.

I cried when i saw this on FB the other day. That was the exact look on my husky's face as he left us... with his face in my lap. he had horrible arthritis, was blind, diabetic and just not doing well - so we decided it was his time to go - and found a vet who would come to our home to do it - b/c i couldn't stand to think of bringing him to the vet's office, where he was always so scared.
it was so peaceful and beautiful - he layed in my lap and I got to love on him and his face was JUST like that- a little smile... so content... and then he was gone. Ugh. crying now.
I love this so much I can get passed the dude's ponytail with minimal effort.
Ha! I even thought to myself - this dude would be HOT without the ponytaiil (and the dog loving just adds to his hotness!)
This. And I cried. And the man should have the vet meet him at the lake when the dog is put to sleep so the dog will literally feel like it's just another wonderful day falling asleep on his master floating in bliss.
