My dog had a growth removed from her leg today. She looks so sad, though her bandage is very cute. The vet said it was definitely abnormal cells but we won't know for sure until a week or so from now, when we'll get the results from the lab. She's not supposed to run, jump, or do many stairs while she heals, plus we have to walk her instead of letting her outside (I assume so she can't run). Just felt like sharing. I feel so bad for her.
Poor pup (and poor pup parents). She is so cute. I hope you get the best news possible from the results!
We are taking ours in on Friday because she has a growth that I *think* is a skin tag, but want to make sure it isn't a tumor. She also just randomly makes groan-like noises (they sound more annoyed than in pain) these days so I want to make sure she's not hurting. I hate that dogs can't talk and tell us how they feel! I also hate that they get old so fast. Our baby will be 10 this summer.

jjwritergirl, I'll take her for a bandage change on Monday and then in 2 weeks she'll get the stitches out. There will probably be at least one more bandage change in there somewhere too.
krystee, hope it's just a skin tag or something minor! This is the first major thing we've had with her and she just seems so sad about it.
@moonbeam, thanks! It's from www.rugsusa.com, which was the best source I found for fashionable but cheap rugs.
Thanks everyone for the well wishes! I got her some pain pills from the vet this morning. DH ended up carrying her down half the stairs this morning since she didn't want to go, and then she's been limping and holding her foot off the floor. Hopefully they help, I got 3 days' worth.
