Your scheme seems very neutral - My monitor is showing black, white, cream, grey and navy. Continuing in a neutral theme ...how about a pair of graphic map?
Is it weird that I don't think I'd hang anything on the walls? To me it detracts from the fun stuff in the china cabinet and the pretty stuff in the rest of the room.
I'd get two tall substantial vases of flowers/sticks/reeds/something on that line for each corner (or for the sides of the china cabinet) and then focus on a really fun and statement centerpiece.
Does the room have a window. Some bold patterned curtains would help too.

I had a lot of trouble finding coordinating prints that I like for my long kitchen/dining room wall. A lot of art that is a "set," like botanical prints, seemed too traditional, but I didn't want anything too abstract and modern. You seem like you're skewing more traditional, so botanicals or something similar might work. I ended up with art from this etsy artist. I'm going to hang the two single ones on each side with the rectangle one in the middle.
I like the map idea. In my DR, I have large framed travel photos (that don't have people in them) and mirrors. I wouldn't put family photos in the DR; it's probably the most formal room in my house (yours looks pretty formal too) and family photos are a more casual vibe.
I also agree that I'd hold until you put a rug in there and re-assess. I think that will soften it a lot. Wall sconces could be a pretty option.
I kind of picture something crisp on the walls, not busy... my first thought was a gallery of "geometrically" varied white plates? Or maybe plates with more clean, modern patterns as opposed to, say, blue delft (which, now that I think about it, would look SO cool against those walls... I have my blue delft plate gallery against BM light pewter, but look how dramatic it looks here!) : I do see something more structured in the display, whether it be the shape, design or configuration...

I really like what you've done with your spaces so far!
I have these mirrors that were in my kids bathroom. I don't think they work well for my little kids space, but they're nice mirrors so I've been trying to find a place for them. I finally found one! Your dining room. www.homedecorators.com/p/lara-oval-mirror/00/450/
What's on the canvas paintings in your living room? Depending what those are, and you wanting to stay away from more mirrors, I would go with something framed. Maybe like this in different frames? www.homedecorators.com/p/carbon-neutral-wall-art-set-of-2/00/730/
Or maybe some black and white photos of vacations? West Elm has a lot of prints I really like. Look there and see if anything grabs your attention.

That looks stunning! And I love how the plates are arranged, more interesting with more movement than the traditional style of grouping.

Hmmm, I think in your case, I would try to stay with symmetry in the dining room around the hutch. I also am not too much into a gallery or a collection since your room is so crisp.
Do you like modern? Maybe something symmetrical and large like these, but in a cherry frame. I like modern art in more traditional rooms.
Or something simple like these circle modern art pieces or another one of these that tie in the blue/blue-green feel of the rooms.
