Is Christmas money supposed to be "used wisely"? Isn't it fun blow off money? :0)
I would buy clothes, BUT...
Diapers? Summer toys, art supplies?
If you REALLY don't need anything or want to use it for good you could buy socks and toiletries, bottled water etc and make some bags to give out to the homeless?

Typically we just blow Christmas money for fun but that stuff actually needed replacing.im leaning towards using it for a grill. Ours caught on fire last summer and we really miss it

I consider a grill an essential household item like say a fridge or stove. I would most definitely replace that.

I liked that bc I think it's a good idea...not bc I'm happy your grill caught on fire :0P

We did replace it but we replaed a $500 grill with a cheapy one that I got on clearance. DH really misses his nice one.
I'd walk in for a pack of socks and walk out $150 later, this is what usually happens. I love house decor stuff, sheets, patio furnishing, kids pool. I cant think of anything particular but I manage to do it regularly.

I probably would buy summer shoes but you don't want that...
That's a great amount to spruce up your pampering or frivolous stuff, so I think I'd shop in the makeup and hair areas. I don't actually own a flat iron, so I'd probably pick one up. I'm sure I'd grab some fun lipstick and/or nail polishes.
Outdoor stuff is out, so I'd be all over things like large pots, outdoor cushions, a new hose nozzle. Be still my heart!
That could eat up $150 fast. I know you said no clothes but I would be looking at sports bras, compression pants, and tanks. I'd love a better workout wardrobe.
Well I spent $150 today on travel toiletries, an Our Generation camper (saving for the summer), coloring books and craft stuff, and Easter candy. I'm sure that helps, right?
I got a gift card for Christmas and used it for an ottoman for the living room and a new crockpot. I almost always want to upgrade house stuff.

I'm just jealous that you have a Target. I'd do summer stuff, for sure. New nail polish, makeup, fancy shampoo and bath stuff. Sunscreen and insect repellent.
The nespresso rep was there brewing coffee on Sat and he gave me a huge, delicious coffee. The machine is on sale for $199 this week. If I felt like scooting my coffee pot and espresso machine over I would grab one of those babies.
Since its a giftcard and doesn't expire, I would just sit on it and use it as needed. Party supplies, birthday gifts, seasonal items, pantry staples. It wouldn't last long!

Apparently I would buy toilet paper, tampons, cat litter, a Big Hero 6 toy (which I think is going to go back, as it kinda sucks), two pairs of Hello Kitty socks, goldfish crackers, two pairs of clearance pajamas, and some Reese's eggs.
