My husband just asked me if I had read Gone Girl. I told him I intended to, but then the whole world spoiled the ending for me, so I didn't see the point.
He was like, "Oh. I'm a third of the way through. I think she killed herself."
And I'm just sitting here like, OMFG HOW DO YOU POSSIBLY THINK THAT
Am I crazy? I feel like just by virtue of being alive in America in the last year, everyone should know how that book ends.
I know they made some comment at the Oscars and I remember thinking, geez, spoiler? But I promptly forgot what it was. The book (or movie) just isn't really what I tend to read.

I'm always a bit surprised when someone doesn't know the ending of Gone Girl. The latest spoiler on social media was on Twitter, Robb Kardashian compared his sister, Kim K, to "that b from Gone Girl," and posted the photo of the actress who played Amy after she came home after her "sexy" time with NPH. (Did I keep that vague enough to be too spoiler-y?)

If I hadn't read the book I wouldn't know the ending. I don't feel like I've seen any spoilers, but I'm also not on social media beyond Facebook and don't watch the Oscars. H and I watched the movie and he was clueless about the ending too.
