David is a picky eater, he's getting so much better but at restaurants with strict menus I guess it could be difficult but we have never been to a restaurant with a menu that we all couldn't order something from. He'd be fine with bacon, eggs, french toast, etc. I also check the menu beforehand and plan accordingly and if menu changes can't be made then I'd just tell David, okay, here's your choices and he can eat them or not eat them.
And miso, you could not have planned around that shit show of not being able to pull together two tables to accommodate a party of 7. Trust me, none of us saw that coming! I thought the place we ended up eating was sooo good and probably better than the first. And they can accododate a party of 7! lol
If everyone else is really excited about the restaurant, I would just let it go and hope for the best. Lack of changing tables isn't a dealbreaker. The lack of A/C would bother me more, but it's still early in the year. Maybe it won't be so bad. (Or is it always summer in LA?)
Today's high was 91.
I go to this place all the time for lunch during the week. I love it, but it's no place for babies. And it's sometimes difficult to find seating for just four people. There is no way that 11 people are going to be able to sit together or even remotely close to each other.
I already told my husband that Saturday is going to be a disaster, but he won't let me suggest something else.

Awww, thanks. I had the best time with all of you! (heart)
I know you guys probably think I'm crazy to continue defending her, but she really is one of my best friends and has done so much for me for so many years.
I feel a strong bond with her because we are both outspoken and brash, and I know that my ways put some people off in a similar manner.
And I am so thankful that my friends love me even though I'm totally rude and crazy. LOL.
So I will keep loving her the best that I can for as long as I can.
1. The situation sounds exhausting. You really are such a good friend. I hope she truly sees that come through.
2. To answer the question, my mini mes would destroy that brunch menu.
3. I'm struggling to think of a non kid-friendly restaurant in Pasadena. Like my city, Pasadena is littered with children.
She does appreciate me even though what I've said on this board may not reflect that.
I'm glad you agree that this place offers a good array of things for kids! Pasadena is all about kids!
