LOL, I'm looking to avoid getting caught. Nice restaurants tend to have the bathrooms tucked away and the mens room tend to be identical to the ladies in terms of facilities and cleanliness. I am looking to avoid the scented urinal cake at all costs.
Divier places I frequent have the bathrooms in higher traffic areas or visible from the tables/bar.
I'm thinking more about whether people would care if they did catch me. Some dude at a bar is probably not going to care. A 60 year old guy with khakis and reading glasses is more likely to disapprove.
LOL, these are my people. The 60 year old in the khakis might be DH.
At the last LA Karaoke GTG, happywife and I got stuck in traffic coming home and I was low on gas. I had to reeeeeally go. So I wen to the restroom and I waited. The lady with a mustache in front of me was taking FOREVER. I went straight for the men's. Mustache Lady was still in there when I got out. I would have peed my pants.
I've done it when I really have to go. It's a free open restroom! I pee really quickly, I'm in and out, lol. It's an open toilet and if I have to go bad enough, I'm using it.
2 restrooms that are single use, but one has a women sign on the door, one has a men sign? I use whichever is free.
Mens room that has multiple stalls? I only use when super drunk and in college and my best friend and I charge in saying "Men, use the urinals and the sinks, we're taking the stalls!"
At my work there are 2 public restrooms. One for the men that has two stalls and a urinal. Then there's the Handicap/Family/Women's restroom with a toilet, urinal, sink, and changing table. It kind of pisses me off when you see women waiting in line for this bathroom because some dude is using it. You have 3 fucking options 5 feet over to the left!
Thankfully, they are building a new women's restroom with at least 2 stalls from what I can see.
LOL, I just had a dream about this, where I decided to go into the men's room because there was a line for the women's. And I was worried about how gross it would be. Wonder what that symbolizes
Anyway, in real life, I think it depends on where I am.
