Assuming that is a laundry tub in the garage yes I like this one too. Esp the outside. Can the outside wall of bedroom #1 be extended out to meet the master or bedroom #2's wall? I would also make sure your laundry room has some counter space, even if you have to install some that fold down. The pantry being far away would annoy me but wouldn't be a deal breaker. I agree the master bath needs a bathtub. Doesn't have to be separated from the shower though IMO.
I would put a door in that connected the dining area to the hallway where the hedrooms are. I would get annoyed walking all the way around the pantry to get to the master bedroom all the time.
I noticed the lack of tub but TBH I don't th you need one since there is another in the kids bathroom. Most people don't take many baths.
I am totally drooling over the outside. LOVE. I think this is actually really well laid out but I would talk to the builder to see if you can move the kids rooms to the back and the master near the door.
I didn't see the first one, but my only feedback on this is that it might be annoying to have to walk through the living room and hall to get to the master bedroom. Could you put a sliding pocket door between the master and the dining room? I can't decide if that might be annoying sound-wise, but I think I would still prefer having easier access. Other than that, I like it. And the front is gorgeous.
eta: Scratch that. Do a pocket door or just an opening between the dining room and the hall just outside the master bedroom, across from the second bath.
I wouldn't love a child's room on the front entry of the house for safety. Only other concern is the placement of the master to bedroom #2. If your child is a light sleeper your shower may wake them up in the am. We sometimes have that problem. Our bathroom shares a wall with bedroom #2. And if we talk in normal voices DS stirs and when DD had the room she just woke up.
