Fireball, the drink---do you drink it?

So no one drank this when I was a kid, and now it seems like it's everywhere.  Google tells me it was a Canadian thing for a long time.  So Canadians, did you guys drink this as kids?



i can't think of a more gut rot combination than cinnamon and whisky.

I've only ever had it as a shot. At first I was apprehensive but I really like it. I cannot do anything peppermint (thank you, Rumpleminz) but the cinnamon was pretty good.

One time, I drank 2/3 of a bottle of fireball and stole a dude's hat at a bush party. I was that annoying chick "I'm just gonna wear this. It looks good on me. Can I have your haaat?"

I think it kind of the shot du jour, much like Jaegermeister was in the 00's. Girls drink it because it tastes good, but gives them toughness because it's whiskey.
I like it for a nice pre-make out shot in a bar, it's like liquid courage and gum all at once.

It became popular around here a couple months back. The hipsters are all about it. I've tried it and it's ok.
I used to drink Hot Damn in highschool, so I'd say it's definitely a step up from that.

I drank it as a kid (tried it for the first time about 18 years ago) and I am not Canadian.

ETA: Or I could be misremembering and it could have been Hot Damn.  It was Cinnamon and a long time ago, that is all I know for sure.

That's funny!  The only people I know who drink it are my parents, and they are definitely not hipsters.  We get the fam together at the holidays, do fireball shots and play poker.  Lol.
