We are headed to LA for Easter weekend, well I didn't realize it was Easter weekend when we did the planning, but alas we will be there.
We've been a few times do we don't have to hit up every tourist attraction, some we just want to enjoy the city. We are planning to do a studio tour either Warner Brothers or Paramount. We are planning to do a day hike and picnic, is Runyon Canyon the best for this?
We also heard it was worth going to Musso & The Frank restaurant. We might try to get to Venice Beach if we can or Malibu....who knows!

I like the Hollywood Farmers Market on Sunday mornings. www.hollywoodfarmersmarket.net/ It should be open on Easter sunday since their website does not list it as being closed for holidays.

Anything else we should do or avoid next weekend?
I don't remember a picnic spot @ Runyon, but likely towards the end where you see all of LA, where all the benches are. But it's definitely a good hiking spot. I personally loved the Getty Center for picnic. Maybe even the Arboretum.
I've been to Musso's once, and I thought it was just ok. But local celebrities hang out there, so there's that.
I would recommend posting in ML, there's a lot of LA women there.
