DH is on my last nerve today. Most weekends he's working, but the few that he's home, he usually is lazy and doesn't want to do much.
Today, both DS and I are sick and tired. DH is all, Let's go on an adventure! Let's reorganize the laundry room! Wooo! No, DS and I are off to take a nap and watch lots of TV so we don't have to move.
So remember last week when I said I ate an entire bag of those mini Reese's eggs? Well I guess I was just really good the rest of the week because at weigh in this morning I was down another 2.6 pounds!

For a variety of reasons, DS2 is spending the day with MIL. OMG, the house is so calm with just the big kids. It's like a different world. I didn't realize what a tornado a 21-month old is and how he gets my other two all riled up/competing for our attention.
I was up from 5 am to 6 am for absolutely no reason. But then went to sleep from 6-7:30. That's sleeping in at my house. lol
DS crashed for a nap by 9:30 so he's sleeping and I'm just being lazy. DS and I are going to a birthday party later today, but that's the extent of my plans for the day.

It's snowing. Dh took the kids to the local farm to get goats milk and fresh eggs. I'm trying to crawl out from under a GIGANTIC pile of laundry. And watching Parenthood- I'm a Parenthood virgin!
Our trip has been just ok so far. It was very windy yesterday and sand was blowing in DD's face. I hope that doesn't deter her from going to the beach today. When it warms up.
Because of friends over and basketball, the kids didn't go to bed until 945pm last night. Only one meltdown from the 2.5 year old, nor too bad.
DH drank way too much, so he's still sleeping too. So I'm just laying on the couch enjoying the quiet house. I already told DH last night that I get a nap today since I knew he'd be sleeping later that normal from drinking.
DS slept like crap last night- he kept rolling most of the way over and getting all frustrated. I almost want him to just figure it out already. But then he'll be more mobile and things will get more interesting for sure.
I have a book club gathering this afternoon- yay wine! And adult conversation!
I don't know if there is a household chore I hate more than deep cleaning the fridge. Which I guess is why I do it approximately never.
I did ours this morning. It was, uh, really gross. How does one's fridge get dirt and crumbs in the bottom of the freezer? Not like that happens to me. Just asking hypothetically.

I wonder about the crumbs every single time. What the heck happens in there?!
Oh and E peed on the potty this morning! We are so not pushing it, but I feel like once she moves rooms and other kids are using the potty she will be full steam ahead.
I'm really excited because daycare agreed to let DS go part time (tues/Thursday) this summer. (I have summers off.) it's only sort of a financial savings because we will spend that money on activities. I'm super excited that we will have some $$ to do fun stuff. I was going to keep him home with me those says regardless.
DD is going to daycare FT this summer since I want a "maternity leave" with just the baby, but our normal summer arrangement is for her to go Tuesday/Thursday and stay home with me MWF. I love it. Pretty much all of our cost savings just goes to stuff that I do with DD on those days, but it's still worth it. We have so much fun. Transitioning her back to full time in the fall sucks, though.
Yeah, I was worried that the transition back to full time would suck. Oh well! I get time with him and he'll be about 18 months so a super fun age to do things!
The ILs are coming up tonight to watch E while we do game night! We could bring him to hang out with the host's kids, but it would be easier without him. It's nice that they live close enough to babysit!

Well that just took five years off my life. DH and I are chatting away in the living room while DS1 plays, then DH jumps up in horror and leaps for DS1. We'd forgotten to replace an outlet cover and DS1 was jamming one of his metal keys (we have an old set he plays with) into the outlet. By some miracle he's perfectly fine. I burst into tears, and I still feel sick while writing this.
Russian met a girl. An applebees waitress. He's going back to wait patiently in a booth at lunch. Found out because he didn't want to come to college town with me today even though he's been asking for weeks.
At the Dr. waiting for strep results. My tongue is so stiff.
Cora's 18mo medi appointment was a couple weeks ago and the pedi (who I admittedly didn't like much, big practice) said to expect new words daily.
She's still holding strong at like 8ish words total, which she said was totally normal.
FB doesn't help when babies younger are speaking in sentences in videos.
DD's language explosion came between 26-30 months. She was tested at 24 months and didn't qualify for services. That's to say, I think your pedi is a little crazy

So is this mutual, or did she catch his eye and he is now going to sit in her section to try to strike up a conversation? LOL
I wanted to do something outside today but it is raining . On the plus side I love the way our yard smells when it rains. It's one of my favourite things.

I would pay to be a fly on the wall for that courting ritual.
Had a pretty producitve morning. Went to a local consignment sale where I got to see the lovely @awinter! Then did a few other errands. We're now home for the day and watching the snow!

A former coworker of mine just had her first grandkid (she's 40) and is calling herself glamma. Made me think of rikki. She actually has bleached blond partially shaved hair, wears leopard print leggings and is pretty fly though.
H is still sleeping and it's almost noon. He has the stomach bug DD and I had earlier this week. He was kind of an ass to me yesterday so I am secretly glad he has it so he knows I was not exaggerating like he thought I was. But, I've been solo parenting since DD woke up at 450 so it's a lose-lose for me today.
I took C to the grocery store this morning solo. He's in a phase of being picky about clothes so this is what he wore:
FTR, that is striped pants, running shoes, a St. Patrick's Day shirt, and Mickey Mouse hoodie. Whatever.
There was a ransom free Easter bunny breakfast at the store so we stopped in to that so he could decorate a cookie. He was terrified of the actual bunny but I got a $5 off coupon for my groceries, LOL.
Now H is going to a solo movie and I get to go get a solo pedi when he gets back. Woo!
Also I'm psyched about these pants I ordered for P from Zulily. Thank God one child still lets me dress him.

I got a call at 5pm yesterday, just as I was leaving work, that DD was puking at daycare. It was a long night of puking, followed by DS puking ALLLLLLL over me at 5:30am. Good morning to me. His may or may not be stomach bug related- he had just finished nursing on both sides, which he never does, and I was super engorged to begin with, so he may have just overdone it. It was very watery, and I was soaked. Very weird.
They both seem fine now, but FML. We were dealing with this all last weekend. Of course everyone was fine during the week! I'm escaping later for a birthday cake frappucino. DH deserves a medal. Lol.
