I hit my goal; I was aiming for 35 miles and am at 36 for the month.
Was planning to do a long run after work tonight because I missed one scheduled for yesterday. Realized when I got here that I packed my running clothes but not my shoes.
Ah, I'm here! Yesterday was crazy and I fell asleep instead of posting : /
I finished my half yesterday, which was my main goal! I didn't overdo it and ran a consistent pace at 10min/mi the whole time! Pro tip: don't run a half, immediately clean your house for a showing, and then drive an hour away to a baby shower all in one day. I feel like I got hit by a truck.
As far as monthly totals I didn't quite hit my mark. I wanted to get 75 but I got just a bit over 60. There were some things I just couldn't control- like ice storms in frickin march and Viv never sleeping.
Next month Im concentrating more on increasing speed rather than mileage. I have Broad Street at the beginning of May and I'd like to keep a 9:30 pace for that.

I have about 85 miles in for the month so far. Last week I only got 6 miles in thanks to a wonderful UTI. I got about 30 miles in this week with a half on Saturday.
I have a 10k and another half next month, so I need to keep it consistent.
I don't remember what my goal was, LOL. I think it was 50 miles. I only got in about 20, I wound up getting shin splints on my 2nd day of vacation, so I had to find other exercises to do. I did bike 25 miles and walked at least 20 miles over the course of vacation. So I got my miles in, just not always running.
I was doing well and on track to hit my 80km goal; however, I've developed tendonitis in my left foot/big toe area. I haven't ran in 1.5 weeks. I'm going a little crazy not running but I'm going to start physio this week and hopefully be up and running soon. It is forcing me to focus on the swimming and cycling aspects of my tri training so I guess that's the silver lining.

Question for you all. Do you bring water with you when you run? I find that lugging a water bottle around throws off my stride but I NEED water. I think I'd feel dopey in a CamelBak but maybe I just need to get over it?

10+ miles, I wear a camelbak. I don't care if I look dopey, it's hot and a long way without hydration. Also it carries my fuel and phone, and sometimes keys.

I normally run on trails that have water fountains. If not, i have small bottles that attach to my fuel belt. I have the ifitness belt (I think they changed their name)

Yes I carry a hand held for short runs and a fuel/water belt with 4 bottles for longer runs.
I didnt run as much as I had planned. But I made itbthrough my half yesterday in san francisco and it was awesome. I may run a mile or two today to loosen up but otherwise no more running for the month.
If you havent done a rock n roll half/marathon - do one! It was amazing and so well run. The expo was great and the finish line was fun and you could just ait on the grass and drink beer and listen to music. It was awesome! Running over the golden gate bridge was pretty awesome too.

I use a Fuelbelt and attach a water bottle of the same brand.
My goal was 30. I am falling short at 25.5. I still have today and tomorrow so I haven't failed yet. I will be doing CrossFit tonight but I may throw in a run after. Tomorrow is a no CrossFit day but I may throw in a run with the jogging stroller.
