... and the place is a total dump w new age posters all over. I know I should not judge a book by its cover but I hope I am able to get out of here w a prescription and find a different dr for my followup. I am nervous! And need medication bc daydreams of how being dead is easier than being alive are becoming more frequent!

Well I survived. He was a old wacko and in the first 5 min he said that all the problems of today's youth stem from the unnatural fact that women work and men can't find jobs. I seriously almost walked out but stuck it in and got my scripts. Wow, he likes to hear himself talk. He also advised me on surgery for my birth injury and so obviously did not know a thing he was talking about.

That sounds like a dreadful experience. I'm glad you survived and got your meds. Hopefully they will help and you'll be able to find someone else.

ugh, my pysch is a tool too! He literally renews my meds and kicks me out LOL Im glad I supplement with therapy> MY therapist is amazing!

I am so glad that my PCP prescribes my meds. I am so fortunate to have an AMAZING therapist, as well.

Spoke too soon! My PCP wants me to see a psychiatrist. Luckily, the one in my therapist's office can see me in June.
