Easter is one of my preferred holidays because it seems so low-pressure compared to Christmas. We have done the same thing every year since DS was born so everyone knows what to expect and there are no hurt feelings.
On Saturday we have my family over in the morning for Easter brunch. Then we go to the town egg hunt in the afternoon.
Sunday morning we relax at home. The Easter Bunny leaves about 15 eggs filled with candy and little toys around the house for DS to find. Then around noon we head to my in-laws for a ham dinner.
We take home the leftover ham hock and I make split pea soup for the rest of the week. Easy and fun! Now if only we could settle on some Christmas traditions...

We are not religious but we do some traditions. We dye eggs a few days prior and I make deviled eggs as part of Easter dinner although we don't do a big feast, just something springy for three of us. The Easter bunny leaves a small basket on Sunday. This year we are having an egg hunt with some toddler neighbors on Saturday and I'd love if that became a tradition.
We dye eggs. They get Easter baskets Sunday morning. Get dressed up. Go to church, egg hunt there. Then we come home and host Easter here. After guests arrive we have an egg hunt here. Then dinner - usually ham, potatoes, pineapple stuffing, asparagus, etc.
That's pretty much it. I like to go to the other services at church leading up to Easter, but they are often more somber and not at good times for kids, so we haven't done it recently.
The Easter bunny drops of baskets of goodies. The kids have an egg hunt in the morning and I make a big Easter brunch. In the past we would go to my FIL's for dinner and he would make prime rib. This will be our first Easter with no family around. DH might have to go into work around 3. If he does I will just make something simple for the kids. If not I will figure out something last minute I guess. DH doesn't like ham so likely a roast. The focus though will primarily be on brunch.
We dye eggs a day or two before. The Easter Bunny hides a basket for each child and eggs, in the house. Baskets have candy and some small toys. The eggs are a mix of the real ones and plastic filled with candy, but I am thinking it's getting too hard to do the 'real' eggs at the last minute now that the kids are older, so that may change this year. We get all dressed up (well, the kids do. I have no idea what I am wearing since I still can't fit into my "real" clothes since the baby was born in Jan) and go to church. This year, we are going to my mom's cousins' house in the afternoon for a big meal and egg hunt. Sometimes we have a big family event like that and other times we have had something smaller, but we always seem to have at least some family around for ham or whatever. The weather here is often cruddy for Easter, unfortunately, but sometimes we get lucky. Last year it was ridiculously warm (like 70!) and the kids got to find eggs outside in their short sleeves.
We'll dye eggs sometime this week. Our church is having a special service on Good Friday. The bunny will leave baskets with small toys and candy. Sunday morning we'll get dressed up and go to church. Then have a big Easter dinner with family and hide eggs for the kids.

The usual. Coloring eggs (DH makes the dye with vinegar), lots of egg salad with the eggs later, egg hunt, baskets with candy and spring toys. My mother does the usual ham dinner but has been known to do a BBQ if the weather is even remotely nice. I'm making mini cheesecakes this year. My aunt used to do the jello eggs when we celebrated as kids. They were kind of gross. As teens, we'd try to get our hands on one of the "adult" eggs with booze in them.

We do a few local Easter egg hunts in the community--the zoo, local businesses, etc. Kids absolutely love them. We dye eggs at home. I do an Easter egg hunt with eggs filled with Annie's bunny gummies on Easter morning (you guys are insane they're yummy) and baskets. Kids dress up, we go visit my grandma then have dinner at my parents. Whole family gets together at my uncles after dinner.
we always do an egg hunt at my parents house. This year MIL and FIL's church will be doing an egg hunt on saturday afternoon that we will go to. We will have dinner with my parents on satuday night because my dad works sunday. On the day itself I'm hoping we can start to paint DD's bathroom LOL. This is the first year we aren't celebrating on the day.
