Why do I have so many boxes of uncooked pasta in my cabinet? How long have they been there? Will I ever have need for them again now that the three of us can pretty much house a box of pasta ourselves? Should I just assume they are gross and throw them out, thus providing my cabinets room for boxes of unused pasta?
NB: I have no idea how long they've been in there unopened. Less than one year.
Pasta never lasts long in my house, but we usually have a random open box or two. We keep them but, like I said, they most likely haven't been open for long!

Sometimes I will combine all of the random pasta odds & ends we have lying around and serve "silly pasta" -- DS thinks this is awesome. If it's really old though I just toss.
I voted "keep them" but honestly I'm about to clean out my pantry and toss them all. For me it's just that everything is a mess and I seriously need to purge. In general though, I don't make a habit of throwing out opened boxes.
