@dragonmommy422 you should come to Columbus just to attend our Easter Egg hunt. It's very orderly and everyone got eggs. Seriously, though, that's despicable behavior.
The huge one through our church is so awesome. Nobody acts like this and they've been doing it for years. I have no idea why people can't handle themselves at this one.
Because they're allowed to. The more I observe people and here these horrific stories, the more I'm convinced that's the issue. So many people in authoritative roles allow this behavior to happen.
Today was my last day of work! We are on spring break next week and then I'm officialy on maternity leave. However, I still have a bunch of stuff to do for my sub so I am going in for a bit tomorrow. This week has been so crazy. The house has been torn apart due to the new flooring installation. They are still here now, but should be almost done. Then we have to try to put some of the house back together tonight. I am exhausted and tired of living in my bedroom with a 3 year old. He has been sleeping on the floor of our room on his mattress since Sunday night. He already doesn't fall asleep in his own room until 10:00, then add in the excitement of having a "sleepover" in mom and daddy's room and we have all been up until 10:30, 11:00 every night. I'm so ready to have my room back.
I love my husband. He has been so freaking busy lately, so I've been picking up a ton of his extra work. (I used to be his assistant, so it's all stuff I'm used to) Well, we're both so burnt out that he's calling a time out tonight. He's handling bath and bedtime tonight. We're ordering Malaysian delivery. No work for either of us tonight. Then he's letting me sleep in tomorrow and taking Andrew to school. He's bummed because he hasn't gotten to see andrew at all lately, and I'm exhausted and getting sick from burning the candle at both ends. I'm happy that he realized we need to take some time off from everything before we both go insane.
Attempting to have Andrew nap in the crib. Lol. We will see.
A friend is coming over with her daughter and Madison is super excited.
Nora has taken exactly one nap in her crib in her three months of life. She's in the RNP at night and swing for naps. Swaddled. I'm in for a rude awakening once we transition I'm sure.
Eek! That does sound scary. So far he has done while at night in the crib (knock wood) but I have NO idea why the naps just suck. Mama needs a break.
muppetinma, I can't believe how dressy they all are for preschool! The girls in C's class dress to play hard and get dirty.
@dragonmommy422, I haven't been to an egg hunt here, but I've heard the one in my neighborhood (in the park next to the mayor's residence) is a complete shitshow of adults pushing over kids to fill trash bags full of eggs themselves.
