If you had a little walk in closet to create a quiet time room for your child, what would you put in it? The space is about 3x4 feet and I can put all of their clothes up on the top hanging rack as well as move everything off the bottom two shelves so my oldest dd can't reach them. We are going to install a little push light on the wall and remove the child lock from the handle once it's ready so she can go in there if she wakes up early. Right now she's turning lights on and getting up which is waking her sister. I'd like for her to have a little space and it hit me that this closet might be just right. DH mentioned a beanbag and blanket, I'm thinking a shelf of books and maybe a few puzzles. Any other ideas for quiet activities or ways to may the space inviting?
Books, a few stuffed animals or dolls, coloring supplies. I wouldn't want anything too messy or loud if the idea is a space for her to play and not bother her sister.
I think the young house love blog people did this in their daughter's room.

We have something like this except it's under the stairs. We have an led light strip like so which plays a light show. Kids love it. We keep Legos and cars in it-it contains those toys so we don't step on them.

LOTS of cozy pillows, maybe of different shapes and with different textured material. Stuffies. Books. Paper and colored pencils. Maybe a container of Little People or plastic animals.
When I read your title, my first thoughts was, "yes please. I would love one of those." But yes, a cozy spot for reading, doing puzzles, maybe some dolls or stuffed animals would be what my DD loved.
I just saw some of these the other day. They painted the corner an accent color, you just tape off a small section in the shape of a dome or triangle. It made it look kind of like a tent. I've always thought those big dog beds would make a good reading spot. I see cutesy ones all the time at Home Goods. We have the one from Land of Nod, not sure how the prices compare.
