Filed our taxes today and pulled some weeds in the yard. I still need to workout later.
In my never-ending sports bra saga, Brooks sent me an email today "tell us about your purchase experience!" LOL. Don't mind if I do! Because I'm super satisfied that I've paid for items that I don't have yet.
I am finally siting down. I have been busy all day. I finally went to the eye doctor and ordered new glasses and bought contacts. Yay for being able to see again lol!
I've been doing house work for the last 4 hours while DH watched tv. He did do some cleaning in our spare room and helped me put the table leaf in our dining room table but besides that he has been no help.
Today we: - Painted two patch jobs (H) and 3 patch jobs (me) - Put up new curtain rods and curtains AND sold the old vertical blinds that were chewed up by Moo for $5 - cleaned the main level and both bathrooms - hung new blinds in bathroom - weeded and pruned plants - washed kitchen cabinets - resealed outside vent to keep birds from flying into the bathroom exhaust fan area Carried out pizza for dinner
Luckily in laws were around and were helping. We did all of the above with four dogs underfoot. Right now I'm alternating watching OUAT and working on classwork. I'm surprised my allergies aren't worse, and also debating if I should take the pups out for a walk.
Breakfast. Dance. Target. Clean out my car. Install the mats under the car seats (aka reinstall the car seats). Medical supply store. Dry cleaning. Lunch. Work on packing hospital bag. Test drive a stroller and look for burp cloths. Sibling class at the hospital that included a mini tour. Color eggs. Bake a carrot cake.
This reminded me that I'm pretty sure we forgot to bring our tax stuff down for my mom... oops, lol. Oh well.
PDQ - I just found out my cousin's XH was involved in a police chase while drunk I think within the last couple days. I knew part of the reason for the divorce was that he had a drinking problem but holy crap. I didn't realize it had gotten that out of control. They have a young son together too. Pretty sure he's facing a decent amount of jail time because this isn't his first offense. Ugh. Crazy!
ETA: Nevermind, I guess this happened in Feb and we just found out about it now. Still crazy!
We had a busy but fun day. Neighborhood egg hunt this morning, then to Home Depot for their monthly kids craft and to Target for a few things. When we got home, DH and DS planted some pansies, we had lunch, then we did a bunch of yard cleanup, including digging up 2 small rose bushes. I did 30 min on the treadmill. Early dinner and then we took the dog for a walk with a stop at the playground. After dinner I cooked the sausage to go in a breakfast thing I'm making tomorrow morning. Phew.

jjwritergirl - it's absolutely our last house in this state. if we are here, we are gonna be in this house. thankfully, we are getting movers for all the heavy stuff! after our last move where it rained, and H and i were left to do the whole house ourselves, it was easy to convince him to bring in the professionals this time. we nearly killed each other last time and that was without stairs or a basement to deal with.
H's parents are in town, and we all went to lunch at a fun place at the local airport and watched planes take off and land. Then they watched the baby while H and I went on an ice cream date tonight. H was re-teaching me chess at the ice cream place and I ended up kicking his butt. We also did newborn photos today and I can't wait to see them!

jjwritergirl I typed up a post last night and PB ate it, lol. He's not my nephew, but yes, he is damn lucky. I read the article and I don't know how he was able to just walk away. I guess it started when he rear ended someone, then ended when he hit another car and a tree. I guess he was going ridiculously fast and went into oncoming traffic at one point. So scary. I hope he learns something from all of this and makes some major life changes. If not for himself, at least for his son!
