I'm filling Easter eggs to hide in the yard and eating as much as is going in them. I'm also drinking wine and emptying my kitchen cupboards. It's exciting over here!
I'm getting ready to make glow in the dark eggs because we are having a glow in the dark egg hunt tonight. Their baskets are filled and I just need to stuff the eggs for tomorrow. I will probably send H out with the boys for breakfast and hide the eggs while they're gone.

Putting the kids to bed now. All the stuff for their baskets us laid out, I just have to arrange it nicely. And scavenge some more stuff for DS - apparently all I picked up for him were flip flops and sunglasses... Also need to fill and hide eggs.
The kids' clothes are ready for in the morning and baskets are filled. DD did the egg hunt in our neighborhood today. DS thinks he is too old for an egg hunt so I ddint have to stuff or hide eggs this year.
I am watching the men's final four game with H for now...probably going to bed soon.
I don't do egg hunts, but on Easter weekend we go to church twice. Church on Good Friday (huge community service with thousands of people), and then Easter Sunday morning. We decorated spring eggs today, and tomorrow my daughter will get chocolate and a stuffy and a new book.
So, tonight I'm wrapping the little gifts, and then I'm watching a few shows with my own chocolate. I'm seriously exhausted from the day. Really low key evening here.
We did Easter today because DH works tomorrow. DD (21 months) loved the egg hunt an every time she found an egg she yelled "I found!" And got so excited.
Eggs are hidden, baskets are ready. My head is pounding and it's making me nauseous. Just going to bed and crossing my fingers it's gone in the morning.

DH took DS to our local egg hunt but they went late so I think all the eggs had been found but luckily DS wasn't really interested because the town firemen were there with firetrucks. Then DS and I went to a play date in the park, dinner and ice cream out to celebrate my dad's birthday so we got home after 7 and it was a race for me to get eggs hard boiled and cooled while DS was bathed and dressed for bedtime. He quickly dyed them and was in bed by 8! Even had time for a poop (sorry TMI) but I couldn't believe he was lights out by his normal bedtime! DH and I just finished hiding eggs around the house - both the dyed and plastic filled with chocolates and quarters. DH will hide a few more outside in the morning when he gets up. DS's basket only has two electric toothbrushes and bubbles...oh, well.

We had our Easter this morning too because DH will be traveling tomorrow. I was up until close to 3am painting Easter eggs for DH and the kids like I do every year and assembling baskets.
Oy.... I'm still working on DS's crocheted Olaf for his basket.. we dyed eggs earlier. Egg salad was made shortly after because he had more fun throwing them. I'll stuff plastic eggs and hide them after I get this snowman done.
I'm waiting for the lamb cake to cool a bit so I can get it out of the pan. Baskets are stuffed and dishwasher is running. We had Easter with my MIL and her mom today, so that was fun for the kids. She got them baskets and we had an egg hunt in her front yard. Apparently sugar affects N more than.jer big brother because he passed out in the car o. The way home at 7, but she jibber jabbered the whole hour drive home. Luckily she went to bed pretty easily.
I am literally the worst. I've not had one kid-free second the past couple weeks, and I kept putting off buying their Easter things.
Well, it's officially too late. I have not a thing for them for Easter. No cutesy monogrammed baskets, no eggs, no peeps, no annoying-as-fuck fake grass...sigh. We are all going to my mom's for ham after church, and she hides eggs. Good enough? Ugh. This sucks, and it's totally my fault.
We did two different gtg today. We thought we would have time in between to go grocery shopping. Nope! We went on our way home at 10pm. Dd fell asleep so I stayed with her in the car while DH did the shopping. Now I'm waiting for him to come back downstairs so we can do the easter basket.
Louie- maybe make some Easter egg pancakes before church? I'm sure it will be fine.
This year we stuffed plastic eggs. I've decided that we're decorating eggs next year. That's a ton of eggs though. What does everyone do with the hard-boiled eggs? Eat them? Make salad? Ugh, I'm hungry.

We will probably eat them with salt but there is an awesome avocado egg salad recipe on Skinnytaste that I am thinking of using.

We decorate eggs for fun but only hide plastic ones.

We dye a dozen, which is about what I hard boil every week anyway. We'll eat them as is for breakfasts and snack. I think we have half a dozen left (we boiled and dyed them on Thursday).
We dye a few dozen depending on how many people. Then we divy them up between whoever wants them at eat as is or egg salad. I hate them, only dh eats them and maybe the baby. It's like the only time I'd purposely intend to waste food. If some get tossed, oh well. We always buy small or medium eggs for this reason.

We only dyed a dozen, but I'm planning on making egg salad today.
My kids eat hard boiled eggs like it's their job. I do egg salad and breakfast sandwiches with the ham leftovers and an egg. I've done the avocado egg salad. I was the only one who liked it. There's also this a skinnytaste regular egg salad recipe (if you want to be healthy about egg salad. My mom makes it with miracle whip and I love it. Probably a MFFC.)
