I'm doing bloodwork this cycle. I did CD 3, and I'm supposed to go back and do the second set whenever I get a +opk. I've always had irregular cycles but lately they've been running about 5 weeks long. So, I'm CD 13 now and I really didn't expect to O any time soon. I took at opk yesterday (wondfo) and it was *almost* positive. Really close. Last night the same. This morning was definitely negative.
So, I never got a true positive, and I don't usually expect to O this early. Should I go ahead and get the bloodwork today, or wait and see if I get another positive next week? I didn't test Saturday, so I don't know if that would've been the true + day or not. I'll probably call my OB's office once they're open. I'm so frustrated because normally I have no trouble figuring out where I am in my cycle.
If you have irregular cycles I would guess you didn't O. Your body may gear up to O several times before actually OIng, which is a total mindfuck. Definitely call just in case but I would keep up with the OPKs.

I know this is technically true, but in the years I've been doing this, I've never had any false alarms like that, ya know. Ugh. But I didn't notice any EWCM this time either.
I know it seems weird, but I definitely had one of these cycles recently. I've been under a lot of stress, and got an almost positive, and then a definite positive almost 10 days later.

I ended up doing the blood draw anyway. I figured if my OB said it wasn't right then they could always give me orders for a new one. The office did finally call me back at 4:59. Nothing like taking their sweet time.
I took my temp this morning. I don't have temps from earlier this month, so there isn't a rise, per se, but today's was in the range that my temps usually are after O. Not conclusive, and I'll keep testing/temping for a little while just in case, but I think I might've actually O'd on time. It's just unfortunate we missed most of the fertile window cause we really didn't expect it so soon.

I'm sorry if you missed the window! I love temping, though, so you know what your normal is pre- and post-O.
