DD got really sick on 3/26 ( Thursday) with high fever and was bed ridden. On that Monday I took her back to the doctor cause she wasn't much better. She tested positive for the flu. She got meds and 24 hours later she was much better. She has been feeling fine since except for major fatigue.
She has been sleeping earlier than usual and has been taking naps during the day. She loves gymnastics and is usually doing all kinds of flips around the house. She hasn't Really been doing any of that, and when she does she seems to Get tired right away.
I know it's only really been a week since she started getting better, but she usually bounces back quickly. I also don't know if it's a growth spurt that coincided with her illness.
I think she could very well still be suffering from effects of the flu, and/or recovering from it, which would make her feel more tired than usual. I'm definitely not an expert, though.
Yea, you don't typically feel like doing flips a week after getting the flu. It not the same as a cold
ETA: of course call of you're worried, but I'm pretty positive if you tell the nurse that you child has had the flu, has been medicated for a week and seems tired they will say, " yes, and...?"
Probably fine, but if it doesn't improve in the next day or two I would probably call the office just to see what they think (i.e talk to a nurse, don't make an appointment right away).

Thanks ladies. My gut is telling me it's more than likely her still recovering, but I always 2nd guess myself. I'll give it this week, and call the nurse line if it's not better.
