I have decided that space bags are kind of a tease, they work great at first and you are really impressed and then bam! You open the closet where you stashed them and they explode out at you.

It may be me....
no, that's been my experience, too. i resigned myself to the fact that i must be doing it wrong.
lol. I've had these on my list to run to bed bath and beyond to get for a month now. I plan on making the trip this month. I have linens and guest bedding I don't want to get rid of but i'm tired of it taking up tons of space!
Shit. I have some clothes I could probably do this with as well! *tdk increases number purchasing*
I"m glad to hear they work - I've been wondering if I'm just falling for another as seen on tv.

Good to know I am not the only one who apparently can't get them to work. (})

Well, I just got them so I can't promise that they'll work forever. I was really impressed with how much they reduced the volume of the extra stuff that I had in the totes (extra bedding, pillows, my big winter coat, etc.)

Space bag totes work well. Actual space bags are crap (except for travel.)
The totes have a canvas thing that zips around, so even if they open up, they are contained. PLus it helps them not get any tiny holes because they are more protected.
