YEs but I do bring a refilable that has a built in brita (my work bottle) just because I think theirs tastes a bit chloriney if I dont. I try my hardest not to buy bottled water.
No but I drink mostly sparkling water at home because I don't drink soda or juice. Sometimes I drink sweet tea. And, of course, sweet tea vodka. And prosecco.
Have you thought about a sodastream, since you like sparkling water. I love ours. I don't even buy the flavorings. My new favorite way to drink it is to add some citrus and let it sit overnight. So yummy. They've gotten really cheap. You can get the cheapest version for $80

Houston water = hell no. We drink filtered water from the fridge. I am lazy about changing the filter but it gets clogged and the water slows to drips, so I do change it about 2x a year.
Home in Western MA = yeah, I don't mind it. It comes out of the faucet super cold, which is what I prefer more than a particular taste.
Only because we have a reverse osmosis filter. I wouldn't drink it if we didn't because I'm not a fan of the fluoride and other chemicals. Plus our water tastes like chlorine without the filter.
Does that really take out the fluoride? We're really concerned about that and have considered a bottled water service, but if we could install something that would be awesome! Can you tell me more?
I'm also considering lobby our municipality to stop adding it.
I don't judge others for not drinking tap. We grew up in a nice new big sub- division but the water had a gross smell. I really had to be convinced over time that not all tap water was gross.
I drink it filtered from the fridge door. Since I'm there to get the ice already, it's more convenient than walking across the kitchen. Technically it's tap water but it's filtered.
When I lived in southeast Georgia in a paper mill town, we NEVER drank the water. It smelled to high heaven of sulfur. It was so bad that sometimes you still smelled a little like it after a shower. It was even bad in sodas on tap sometimes at restaurants.
We bought bottled water for the two years we lived there.
I lived in Hanford, CA and it was much the same (this was pre-water-bottle-popularity though, back when I was a kid). I swear I smelled like rotten eggs the entire time I lived there. I couldn't bear to take showers. I'd sometimes go visit my mom or dad so I could clean off from my showers. +o(
You should stop. Seriously. Google that shit. It has absolutely no benefits and is extremely harmful. It lowers IQ, among other things. I'm shocked you're doing it intentionally. Please stop.

Can you give me some links for this? I googled it but I'm getting a lot of contradictory information.

I'm pretty sure the jury's still out on that one. And 'no benefits'? I bet a dentist would think otherwise
Honestly, I dont think I have an opinion either way, but I'm just not sure you need to be as alarmist as you are being!
I'm not really familiar with the New American so I'm not sure if it's biased, but it has legit citations.
Basically, fluoride ranks up there with arsenic and lead in terms of toxicity, and it accumulates in your bones and soft tissues, including brain matter. The "benefits" in terms of dental health are topical only. Fluoride toothpaste helps your teeth, but drinking it does nothing good. The studies have linked it to lower IQ, and I'm starting to wonder if that's why we're all idiots.

Well, why would we spend millions of dollars to basically medicate our entire population for no reason? Drinking fluoride does not provide benefits, and there is plenty of research that's it's extremely dangerous. Even if it's not that bad, why are we wasting our money? Maybe you didn't hear, being in Canada and all, but we're broke down here. . Plus, you're being fluoridated, too, so maybe you're just dumb as well.
That's TIC, in case my tone and the smiley face doesn't come across clearly.

Ha!! I think my town is fluoride-free. Many up here don't add it. Sooooo that's why I'm smart
Actually, now that youve posted I will look into it more. I've never paid myth attention becase of our (I think) lack of fluoride in the water.
We're poor too. Don't worry. Thats probably Why we stopped.

Honestly, I just recently became aware of this issue, so I'm by no means an expert, but the more I research, the more angry (and freaked out) I get. On the list of poisons, it goes arsenic, fluoride, lead. Would anyone here support adding arsenic or lead to our drinking water? Of course not!

No - FL water is disgusting and might kill you if consumed. I grew up on artisean (spe?) well water. Since my mom moved to the "city" (population 3,000), I don't drink tap water when I visit her either.

We do have a filter under the sink on the cold water. With that, it tastes fine, and we drink it from the tap. We almost never buy bottled water - just on long car trips.

I sort of don't want to make a huge debate about this, but since I was directly addressed, I will point out that both the ADA and AAP (and CDC) recommend fluoride supplementation for kids. That's who I follow for my family's care.
