I'm looking at the chart gallery on FF and I see lots of pregnancies with temp drops and lots of neg PG tests with a temp rise. I'm thinking of not temping until next cycle begins. I'm curious what others do and your reason for stopping or continuing.
I didn't when I first started charting but I do now. I like that I know when AF is starting since get a major temp drop that day. Temping after O can also help predict if there are other issues such as low progesterone (per my midwife).

On cycles that I temp, I usually start after my period stops and stop after confirming O. My temp doesn't drop until a couple days after I start bleeding, so watching for that has never been part of my "system."
Trying for #3; FET 8/18 -- BFN. Leaving things up to chance for now... After three years, three IVFs, and two FETs, we finally have our miracle babIES!
I do. Just to be able to also track my luteal phase. It used to be on the shorter side, so I like to keep an eye on it. Plus I like seeing the temp drop so AF doesn't surprise me.
I use a acupuncturist who specializes in fertility. He likes to see the temps for various reasons. Plus, I have seen a temp drop the day before or day of my period...so it's given me a heads up in the past.
I do - I like to see the temp stay up (usually drops if your period is about to start), and with my prior positives, I saw a triphasic pattern with another uptick in temp after what I assume was implantation.
