(I'm really stretching the definition of 'ish' here)
April 12 at 11:02pm Finished blogging for the night. Going to take some cough meds and try and write a little more before I head to bed for the night.
Person: How's it coming along
Boring: The book? Eh. I struggle with it. The bad thing this book has already been written and published, but it needs edited horribly. The other one I finished during NANO I haven't really looked at since. I have a lot to change in that too. I'm not good with third person writing so changing that one to first person. That will be fun!
Person: It'll make it interesting for you! It'll also keep you busy
Boring: As if I don't have enough to keep me busy. And the fact that I have tons of research to do on vikings. apparently I'm going to try out a historical teen romance. I keep adding more on my plate. lol!
Person: You go girl lol. Talk to my oldest child, he's my history buff!
Boring: I have researched a lot. Then I started watching Vikings on the history channel and have seen what they did with that world. I already have character names and a plot, just have ti finish all this other stuff up so I can work on it.
Editor hasn't commented. I kind of have the German Embarrassment for her, but...
Also, Boring talks about her VACUUM. (not the internal one) Yesterday at 1:34pm So much for running the vacuum before I pick up the girls. Don't even have to time to tear the darn thing apart to see why it's being stupid.
23 hrs Well, the vacuum filter and canister are cleaned out. Now to await them to dry so I can finally vacuum. That is why I hate the powder crap that gets sprinkled on the floor to make it smell fresh. It clogs my sweeper. The bad thing is I never use the stuff, but it is still coming out of the carpet from the last owner who sold it to us over 3 years ago.
There was also a whole long thing, with picture(s), about how her kid picked out dinner and then they made the dinner and then they ate the dinner and then she was proud of the dinner, which is what I was going to make this amount, but that shit up there with the Vikings (RexManningDay) is comedy gold.

Oh, so she came up with this awesome idea to do a Viking-inspired historical fiction, and then was like, "Oh, there's a show about Vikings on TV? I had no idea!"

NEVER DOUBT THE QUALITY OF HER RESEARCH.
Doing some research for my viking princess. Yes, I know women were technically vikings, but being she is a daughter of a viking king she will be my lovely young viking princess. Also I did not realize that vikings would have been as short as I am. Most people are taller than I am. Vikings were shorter than people are today, but more or less looked like us. Which means they were about as short as I am. Cool! I love learning new things.
