You already know what's going on with meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. I gave my number out last night to a cute guy who owns a local beer bottle shop. Super excited about this even though I'm not sure I really want to date. He was flirting with me the whole time I was there though and it was a nice ego boost.
Also today, I bring the foster dog in for stitches removal and to talk about managing her pain better moving forward. I think we may try some water therapy with her as well. I feel terrible that she has been in so much pain. I upped her pain meds last night and this morning. It is breaking my heart.
Yay doglove! Even if you decide you're not ready to date, it's always nice to have that little ego boost
I caught the mouse that was in my kitchen. I feel bad for the little guy but he needed to be out of the house. Now I have to figure out how he got in from the outside.
I actually joined the gym yesterday. I am concerned about my back, I am always worried about hurting it. My back is doing so much better, im afraid to hurt it.
Thanks guys! It's strange to be interviewing with my own boss - she's delivered my performance reviews for 5 years now, so it's not like she needs a reminder of my work or anything.
doglove poor foster! I hope you find something that relieves her pain. Didn't you try puppy accupuncture with Buddy, or am I misremembering?
Not accupuncture and not Buddy - but one foster did go through a "healing touch" program where they use essential oils and touch to help them heal. Actually, my coordinator said they are doing that again this weekend so if there is room, she will go to that as well! Good memory!

I spent 45 minutes on the phone with the pharmacy that is filling my heparin prescription. It's a giant cluster fuck and the fact that I am *not* on this med yet and can go into labor at any time is really a big problem. I had to pull pregnant bitch and speak to a supervisor.
The weather is gorgeous and I've loved having all of my windows open. It's been the BEST.

Eeek! What did you do with him once caught? I wouldn't exactly want to let him go outside, if he could just waltz right back into the house again.
I bought a traditional trap that's enclosed, so I didn't have to see or touch him. I was worried about him coming back in the house too. Now I'm going to keep an eye out for others. The counters were still clean this morning, so there may not be any more.
I was dripping actual sweat at the gym this morning. Dripping.
I have never, ever dripped sweat before. It was the weirdest sensation.
It is weird. I do in Hot yoga and i've gotten it in my eyes. soooo gross!
Good luck Chalupa
Doglove I hope you can help that poor pup.
I skipped yoga last night. I was so stressed I went and got a total fat kid dinner from whole foods. A slice of pizza, sushi to split with H and a piece of praline cake to split. It was awesome.
I found out last week that one of my customers passed away a couple of weeks ago. He'd been a loyal customer for 8 years. I never met him in person, but his death has me very sad. We're doing a semi annual service for his wife today so I sent my technician with a nice card and instructions to not charge her for today's work.
Boyfriend and I just finished our taxes. (Procrastination at its finest!) I'm getting a not insignificant refund but he had to pay a pretty small amount.
And high five to you doglove for stepping out of your comfort zone.
bullygirl979 I feel your pain. I have worn my glasses for 2 weeks straight because of the damn allergies and I am getting tired of it.
Today is girl scout day again and I am sort of scared. (Kidding). The girls are actually super fun but I am sure they are going to be bouncing off the walls today.
I thought I had tricked my cat into staying out of my room at night - a concoction of a baby gate, velcro, and a heavy-duty curtain with a tension rod. Baby gate on bottom, curtain velcroed to the wall inside my doorframe and tucked into the baby gate.
She figured out a way of actually jumping up and lying in between the baby gate and curtain until the tension rod was sprung out of the doorway and the curtain came down. She was happy as a clam. This was at 4:00 AM.
I'm trying more velcro tonight ON the babygate to see if it helps. I need to sleep more than 4 hours a night. This is ridiculous. I need a fucking door.

gault, is she afraid of aluminum foil? We kept my old cat off the bed by putting foil all around the edges of the bed. She'd try and jump up, it'd make noise and she'd run away.
