We watched the first Harry Potter movie with DD1 this afternoon. She was nervous it would be too scary, but she ended up loving it. She is now walking around the house with a blanket draped around her shoulders, talking in a British accent and asking us to call her Hermione Potter. lolol. It is a nice change from Anna and Elsa anyway.

I spent today working on my bread skills. I think I over proofed the loaf and I followed the baking instructions for time and it's a lot darker than I think it should be. I even made sure the oven was running at proper temperature while baking.
DS3 just spontaneously sat down on the potty and peed right before bath time. Keep it up, kid, keep it up.
My kids have been running around outside all day, and DS3 didn't nap at all. I am hoping we can get everyone to bed early-ish so H and I can chill and watch the Imitation Game. We have big plans to pop champagne at 12:17am, which marks DS3's second bday. Making it through babyhood for the third and final time (*sniff*) is totally reason to celebrate, right?

My darling husband has a friend over tonight, so we decided that they would go pick up dinner while I out DD down so I could go shopping as soon as they got back. Except for some reason he was sad that he was goog to miss teeth brushing (his 5 min portion towards the end of our half hour song and dance) so now DD is sleeping and I'm sitting around waiting for then to come back. Omfg use your brain!
We've been packing all day. I'm starting to get a little emotional about the move.
Dd is at the next door neighbors house playing with the two girls there. From the happy screams I can hear, they must be having a good time. I hope we have cool new neighbors.
DH is away at a comicon so I'm solo parenting all weekend. We had a pretty great day - play date / walk to the farmer's market this morning (where I bought coffee and cookies for immediate consumption and beer for later tonight). DS stayed and played the afternoon with his buddy and DD and i came home so she could nap. Had a different friend over for coffee. Now it's nearly bedtime and everyone looks appropriately ready to crash.
DH got a photo with Peter Cullen and looks over the moon. I am married to the biggest dork.

Survived the family party at my mothers, some drama with the ass step brother but nothing too crazy. Ds had his first Carvel ice cream cake and loved it! I worked there for a few years in college and don't think I've had it since then.
Had the most perfect day today! I wish every day was like this!
We're going to the Mets game tomorrow, where I'm sure we'll be disappointed. and I'm nervous about wrangling our wild toddler. No way will he sit in his seat and watch the game peacefully.
@mrsbecky - we were at the harbor earlier today too! Just walked around and then went to the playground at the top of federal hill.
It was beautiful out today! After spending the first part of the day downtown, we went to a friends house. She made dinner, along with amazing chocolate Nutella cupcakes, and DS and their two kids played together. Their son and DS are two weeks apart. We had a wonderful day!
We went to a bar/restaurant for dinner and DS2 tried my steamed broccoli. He was not a fan.
I'm hiding out in his room now nursing him to sleep and dragging it out. House guests wear me out.
matildasun did you pass me in the harbor today? Someone passed me with two kids on the back of their bike and I thought of you lol.
I could have, except I only had one kid and an empty bike seat. We rode towards Fells Point around 1:10 and back home around 3:30. Our bike is a bright orange tank. If it was me I hope I was polite. The pedestrians who wander into the bike lane without looking were driving me nuts today. Where did you go to dinner?
I went shopping on my own for a bit today! I scored 4 pieces of shape wear at Macy's for $67. They must have accidentally left a sign up for buy 2 get 2 free. The lady said that's not the sale, the other signs say buy 1 get 1 75% off. Yes, but this sign where I got the pieces from says buy 2 get 2 free.
I am now making This butter cake from a restaurant called Mastros. I have never had it, but DH loves it!!
Mom is going to watch V on the monitor after bedtime so we can go to a neighbor & CW's party. We got the invite when we ran into them at the grocery store today.
We just got home from dinner out for FILs birthday. It was lovely. DD is actually asleep and I am trying to be hopeful that tonight will be ok. We have officially moved from 2 naps to 1.
I have pulled something in my back by my left shoulder blade and it kills. And no chiro on Sundays so the best I will get is Monday night. I am hoping it will resolve itself between now and then .
Had a great time at MommyCon Minneapolis today. It was so fun being around other women and hearing stories, laughing with the presenters and just celebrating motherhood. I also got to spend my day with jene who is adorable, easy to chat with, down to earth and overall a fun person to spend the day with. If she thought I was crazy she did a good job hiding it.
DH ordered pizza for dinner so I ate and then played with DD for awhile before bedtime. Now I'm nursing and snuggling her. Seeing all the little babies at MommyCon both made me miss her and made me want another itty bitty one.

M was such a hit at the football game. He kept calling the stadium an airport. He had a blast and behaved so well. We were up in the box so there was ton of food and he actually ate something. We kept wonderimg who stole our kid.
I got to spend the day with spk926, and she is awesome and super funny. She let me tag along with her all day at mommycon. Sadly, we did not win any of the giveaways at the end of the day, but it was a really great day.

I refuse to turn on my air conditioning in April. It ended up rather warm in here this evening. I changed into a t shirt and some pretty short athletic shorts. DD hasn't seen me in shorts since last summer. She told me, "You wear underwear? You need pants!"
I just got back from my nephew's First Communion. Such a fun day and a nice party.
The kids fell asleep on the way home. We picked up a pizza.
Kids were so worn out from chasing cousins all day, they went to bed ASAP. H and I are just hanging out on the couch relaxing with wine. We're also contemplating going to bed at 8:34 pm. We're still worn out from the other night's up all night fiasco.
I also have to say I really love my house. It might be plain and builder basic but it's put together very well. My SIL built a medium end house in a higher end development (make sense?) two years ago and it's sort of coming apart at the seams already (chipped baseboards, scratched floors, hooks/towel racks coming out of the walls, dented cupboards) etc.I almost feel bad for her. Sometimes glorified builder basic isn't so bad..haha.
