I told my husband about your watching this too. He was curious as to how you fell upon it. It certainly isn't popular.
Also, another series we are watching (on YouTube) is North of 60. It isn't a period piece but it's very good so I thought I'd let you know about it. It is set in Canada in the 90's.
I found it on Amazon Prime via xbox. I can't remember what I was watching but Lark Rise was suggested when I clicked on "things like this" or something. I might have been watching Bleak House but that miniseries will make you suicidal. Damned Dickens.
I just started season 3 of Lark Rise last night.
All I'll say so as not to ruin it is Poor Alfie, dude.
Hab - just in case you needed something else to add to your instate queue, check out Jullian Fellowes' "Titanic." It's four episodes and I'm only one episode in, but so far it's quite good.

I'm already saying poor Alfie.....sorry to hear things get worse for him.
This sounds good! Is there a full ep version on YouTube or do I need to just go with the multi part for each episode version?
It is on YouTube, but it's not a full episode. We tried it the other day and it's quite annoying to have to keep loading the next section of an episode. If you have Netflix, I'd do it that way. Not sure how Hab;s works.
ETA: Wait, are you asking about Lark Rise to Candleford or North of 60? The latter has full episodes on YouTube. It really is quite good as well. Different, but good.
Lark rise but I may check out north of 60 too :-) I'm downloading them to my computer via firefox so I can watch the eps without loading each section but just wanted to check to see if there were whole episodes. Thanks!
