Do they offer the Samsung Galaxy IIIs? I've been lusting after that one - reviews have it as somewhat superior to iPhone.
This one. T-Mo does have the Samsung Galaxy S III and said that it's amazing, and she's a tough critic. Their HTC One S is supposed to be good too, but not quite as good as AT&T's HTC One X.
you should be a rebel like me and have a windows phone.
DH has a windows phone and really likes it but he got it after using a 6 year old blackberry
This was me. A windows phone kicked ass after the shitty blackberry but it can't touch the iOS or android phones. They kind of suck. (I have an iPhone now yay!)

My galaxy 3 should arrive today. I'm excited. Even my mom ordered one, and she's upgrading from a 5+ yr old flip phone.
Fwiw it's cheaper to buy the phone oop and switch to the monthly prepay than do a subsidized phone and get a contract. I think it takes about 10 months to even out, then the prepay is cheaper. Just did the math on this last week.

I'm a little jealouse that iPhone and android-platform have way more aps than I seem to but Windows is slowly getting there. I tried playing with my FIL's iPhone to show him something but to me the iPhone just wasn't as intuitive as the Windows phone is AND since everything Microsoft is going to tile, you get the picture.

I'm on TMobile, too.
I currently have a My Touch 4G, which you can get free or low cost if you look. It's a great 4G android phone and it will serve you well.
Currently lusting after the Samsung Galaxy S III.
Why? Better screen (similar processor, similar storage, so a wash there). The Galaxy has a lot of super duper cool hardware features... like:
a stunningly beautiful screen
cordless charging
this cool feature where the front-facing camera (the one you'd use to look at yourself if you were on video chat) can be set to look at your eyes. why would you do that? because if you're a normal person, you have your phone set to dim the screen after a few minutes of non-activity, so that you don't kill the battery. well, if you're doing something like using your phone as a book reader, you might not get through the page before the screen dims, making you touch the screen just for the sake of touching it. The Galaxy S alleviates this - it knows if you're actually reading the screen, and doesn't dim if you are.
I have the Galaxy SIII and I love it. My mom switched to an iPhone 4s recently and I don't think her's compares as far as usability. I can customize my phone in almost any way for how I use it.
Plus you can share pictures from one Galaxy to another simply by holding them next to each other - right? I read that, then saw the commercial - I was SOLD.

Well that sounds like a dangerous feature right there.

I may or may not be refreshing my fedex tracking page to see if it's gone out for delivery.
Seriously, we ordered 4. My parents both got them, and so did H. My dad and I are obsessive researchers of technology, and we both think this is the best phone out there and will still be one of the best for awhile. No one's really going to launch anything new that will compete until after the iphone 5 sometime this fall.
Costco recently had a t-mobile promo for buy 1 galaxy s3 and get the s2 for free. Recent as in last week, so it might still be valid.
Ahhh... 2007. It was a good year. Bush was in office. No one knew our economy was headed precipitously for the apocalypse. I did an olympic distance triathlon that year.

The commercial is a lot misleading. It doesn't automatically share out to anyone who happens to be close. I think a few phones already have this feature. It's referring to the NFC (near field communication) capabilities in the phone.
I think the bump app does basically the same thing, but over bluetooth (I think). It's been available for a couple years IIRS.

Just need to update: my phones are in Honolulu. Confirmed! Now they just need to get into my hot little hands. No, for real. My other plan expires today.

We use Straight Talk and it's $45 for unlimited talk, text, and internet. Straight talk uses at&t's or t-mobile's towers depending on your phone (or you could unlock the phone to use all towers)
My husband has a slight addiction with buying used phones cheap off of bookoo/craigslist, unlocking/jailbreaking them, and then selling them on Amazon or ebay. He loves the Samsung phones (although they are harder to unlock and jailbreak).

I have the Galaxy Note which I think is similar to the Galaxy SIII, except the screen is a little larger--5.3 inches. I like it better than any phone I have had, including an iPhone. I think the Galaxy SIII has a 4 and some fraction of an inch screen. Android has a lot of apps.
I saved $70 by buying it on Amazon and still got the rates through AT&T--don't know if they work through T Mobile, but it is worth a look.

Yes, sorry - I think the photo has to be intentionally shared between the phones, as opposed to an auto-share. Still freakin' this geek out.

OH!
To remember...
when we bought our phones through t-mo, HTC was running a sale on them through their website (by, like, a lot - I want to say they were $50 on the HTC website and $299 at T-Mo.)... if you go to a T-Mo corporate store (not one of those little mall kiosks, but a full on store) they'll price match a lot of on-line deals.
They sold us two of the phones at $50, and put the charge for them on our bill, so $0 out of pocket. Nice.
