I've never really liked flip flops (sorry!) but I bought these a couple of years ago and am a fan.
I had to return these because they hurt the top of my foot SO BAD. I was sad, I really like them.
They bothered me at first, but it eventually got comfortable enough.
My feet are SUPER SENSITIVE. I actually can't really wear flip flops because the strap.. or whatever it's called.. rubs my foot raw if they're not made of a decent material. It's so sad.
I have been meaning to mention these flip flops. My rainbows suffered through pregnancy and while still okay for bumming around look rough. My Havianas which I usually love have been rubbing weird so I bought those on a whim at Target on Saturday. They are so freaking comfortable. I walked all around an outdoor garden festival thing on Saturday and did yard work in them Sunday. I might go buy another pair because for $13 why not.
Where are flip flops not socially acceptable? I'm so sorry you're going to have to move.
Spain, man. They're wicked snobby about their footwear. I'm pregnant and my feet are swollen. Why can't I just wear pretty flip flops to work?

I have gone through two pair of plain looking rocket dog flip flops..... They have a woven strap on top.
They were on sale and I stocked up in a new pair of brown and black for this year...... Although now I see there are also fun colors so I might need more.
I have worn black braided Reef's since high school. My first pair got stolen, second pair finally wore out, and I'm now on my third. It's been close to 10 years since I got my first pair.
When I was running and had plantars fasciitis, these orthaheel tide flip flops saved my life.
I still love them for their arch support, but now they share my affection with Olukai Ohana:
Hi-i have that problem now and have been looking for something to wear in summer. Did you get them right from the website?
The Orthaheel Tide? They are widely available. Amazon, Nordstrom, Zappos, and on the website (http://www.vionicshoes.com/tide-ii-toe-post-sandal.html). It looks like the new Tide II is slightly different but the arch support looks similar.
I am never ever barefoot at home - I wear these flip flops everywhere.
Also - you might want to look into a sleep splint - I wore this one and still do whenever my foot pain flares. Rainbows, forever. They have arch support and when not too stretched don't actually flip and flop. Lol
I am upset because I stretched my favorite pair out too much by getting them wet and then wearing them anyways. I wish I could fix them, but will probably just buy another pair. I can use the stretched ones for pool/water activities this summer.
