Give me a typical day of food for a 1 year old, specifically one who goes to daycare. Also, how much WCM is your baby drinking? I know we're way off on milk, but not sure about food.

L doesn't go to daycare so I will skip over the food question, but our pedi did say that he should drink 10-20 oz of milk a day, which seems like a huge range. Of course when she told us this he was drinking only 6-8 oz tops and she was also fine with that..
Breakfast: Frozen ww and blueberry waffle with coconut butter, chicken sausage, and fruit. On weekends H makes egg/dairy free pancakes sometimes. The girls can eat eggs so he sometimes makes eggs on the weekends too.
Lunch: veggie fruit coconut milk yogurt protein of some sort. Usually one of the following: Leftover chicken sliced turkey frozen meatballs sunbutter on ww pinto or black beans
Dinner: Whatever we are eating. So the range is huge. Always includes veggies and fruit. They also get a veggie or veggie/fruit pouch and coconut milk yogurt if they didn't have it at lunch.
They have a morning and afternoon snack that is usually a pouch, fruit, graham cracker, tiny fruit, cheerios, happy creamies, or Kashi bar.
They refuse any milks other than a few sips. They are still nursing at least 2x overnight, at wakeup, 930, 4, and before bed.
Eta: The girls are with my mom during the day but this is exactly the same as J when he was thay age and in daycare. Only difference is that J also drank an oat/coconut milk mixture. He would drink about 6 to 8z of that a day and then nursed about 3 to 4 times.
At home in the mornings: 6 ounce bottle (half formula, half milk), 2 ounces hummus, a 5 ounce pouch, half a string cheese. We also offer milk in a cup, but he doesn't drink much, maybe an ounce or two.
Daycare does breakfast at 830 or 9, usually a carb and fruit. He's not wild about melons, which is all they've been getting recently, so he usually just does the carb.
Lunch at 1130 is usually a meat based protein, a carb and veggie. I have no idea how big the servings are, but he sometimes eats 2, sometimes barely 1.
Snack at 230 is crackers and hummus, or string cheese. I have the same issue as lunch, no idea what a serving is, and sometimes he eats 1 or 2.
Through out the day, they offer water on demand, and milk with meals. I'd say he gets 4 ounces of milk while there. He also usually has at least 2 plum pouches a day while there.
Dinner at home is the same as breakfast, and done as soon as we get home at 6. 2 ounces hummus, half a string cheese, a 5 ounce pouch. Milk offered, but again, maybe an ounce or two.
He gets an 8 ounce bottle at bedtime, again, half formula, half milk, around 645.
He's about 24 pounds, 31 inches, and just started walking this week. I'm struggling with dropping the last two bottles, as I feel like he needs the calories, and I don't know how else to get them in him.
Morning-nurses Breakfast- Oatmeal with fruit mixed in and a bit of yoghurt Lunch-one jar of baby food, one yoghurt, fruit compote and maybe a biscuit snack- yogurt and/or fruit and a biscuit evening- nurses Dinner- one jar of baby food, some of whatever we are eating, some yogurt and some fruit
She has water with each meal.
On weekends, she may or may not nurse during the day before a nap. There is occasionally a morning snack if she is really hungry.

This morning for breakfast: -pumpkin spice waffle, scrambled egg, 6 or so raspberries, a cereal bar
Yesterday for lunch: -deli turkey meat (maybe an oz) -cut up cheese cubes (also probably an ounce) -an entire apple -couple slices of cucumber -a few sips of a kefir drink
Yesterday for dinner: -5 or 6 meatballs -corn -black beans -broccoli -pumpkin spice waffle -arrowroot cookie
Snacks: -Cheerios, puffs, those crunchy things that oceanspray posted (except he likes the sweet potato Apple kind), one of the Gerber graduates little kid yogurt cereal bar things, yogurt melts
He nurses 4ish times a day. We had his one year appointment on Tuesday and I told her he was only drinking an ounce or so of milk a day and she said, "don't worry about it now. Your milk is better anyway. Just keep offering". He probably drinks about 20oz of water a day. I just tried this kefir drink but he is not so sure.
Looking at other people's posts makes me wonder even more - how the hell do my kids eat so much and still weighed less than 18lbs at their 1yr appt?!?!? and more importantly, WHY can't I have their metabolism. They definitely got it from their father (wilted)

I was thinking the same thing. My little guy loves food yet somehow he managed to gain less than a pound from 9 to 12 months.

DD as well. She was less than 18lbs on her 12 month appt, but she eats all the freaking time. While at a picnic with other children, they were all playing and exploring while she was stuffing her face with croissants and coconut bread....I miss the days when I had a metabolism like that!
