my mom has a 30% off coupon and a kohls card she can use. i want to buy a stroller (probably a Bob), but when i try the promo code online it says that item is excluded/does not yet qualify. is this because i haven't entered her cc info yet? according to her the coupon doesn't exclude Bobs/strollers in general.
basically i know nothing about shopping at kohls or with their coupons. is it reasonable that i can get a bob for 30% off?
Some of their baby stuff doesn't qualify for the coupons. I tried to use a 30% off on a car seat earlier this year and wasn't able to. You're still able to earn kohls cash with the purchase though.

If it isn't excluded from the coupon (I thought I had read recently that Kohl's is excluding baby gear now?) then yeah, it should apply with the credit card info.

i haven't seen the coupon myself and i don't entirely trust my mom to correctly read the fine print so it's very likely excluded. i'll try it later with her cc info though just to make sure.
bobs are pushing $600 in canada ($589 last i checked ). i could get a revolution for $236. i have an older model, but i want a bright shiny orange one and this is my only real chance of getting it.

Holy cow! I have an orange and love it. I'm sad that my hand me down double will be blue
It's probably just because her CC info isn't in there yet. I have a Kohl's card and the codes give that message when I haven't yet logged in to my account so it can "see" my card. I bought a BOB this time last year with a 30% off coupon, so if the policy changed it would be pretty recent.
nextbigthing and all - tell me how kohl's cash works. it said i would earn $46 or something on that order when i tried to fake it through checkout. does it have an expiration date? does it have exclusions?
i'm going to the states in June so i will have a chance to shop in person or i suppose i could order more stuff online before i get there. am i going to get caught in a cycle of trying to spend all my kohls cash?

It's a marketing gimmick and a cycle, but as long as you know that, you'll be OK. The Kohl's Cash you earn from this purchase would be redeemable in another week or so, for a period of ten days-ish. But there's no minimum to use it, so it's not too much of a scam.

i have been lusting over the orange forever. my 2009 is a very sun faded blue and grey. i got it for $75 and it's still in great shape besides the fading, but our babysitter has it now so she can walk trails around her house with R. i think i will have to pry it from her cold, dead hands. she comments everyday how much she loves it. i want a new one and then she can just keep the older one since she has babies around often enough to use it.
OK, I just went back to review my order and it looks like there wasn't a 30% off coupon at that time, but I stacked a storewide 20% off coupon with a department 20% off coupon:

but then i'll get more kohls cash from that purchase and i'll feel like i HAVE to spend it or else i'm throwing away free money. and i'll have to spend at least enough to get free shipping, which is approximately $35 more than what i'm already buying just to buy so i don't throw away the free money. i am a marketers dream.

catbus described it perfectly. It's just a bonus coupon, you get $10 for every $50 spent, you can't use it right away but in a few days.
Kohls cash has an expiration date. They have really cracked down on using it before it expires and often you can't redeem it the same time they are offering Kohls cash again.

I don't know about Kohl's in Canada, but here in the states you can walk into a store and order at the kiosk, and then all the shipping is free. You pretty much already need to know what you want to buy (it's a slow process navigating on the kiosk), but I've done that to save money. I've also done that to use online codes that are better than the paper instore coupons I have.

They always have a code for free shipping if you are using the credit card with no minimum. Right now the code is mvcapril. There is usually an overlap of 30% off codes, free shipping, and kohl's cash. Retailmenot always has good ones.
I'm pretty sure Koh's is excluding all car seats and strollers from their purchases. This is the wording from their website:
This product is not eligible for promotional offers and coupons. However, you are able to earn and redeem Kohl's Cash and YES2YOU Rewards on this product.
Diapers.com has them for $368 and $30 off when you enter the code BOBJOG. That's probably the cheapest currently.
