I have started to buy baby girl some clothes now that we know the sex. I am won't buy tons till after the shower but I want to get some pieces. I order a mini Lilly Pulitzer shift and got some cute items on sale on Nordstrom. I have looked at baby Gap and Janie and Jack, but what are some other places where there are cute things?

I'm thinking of hitting the Wrentham Outlet this weekend for some stuff, specifically I want to go to Baby Gap, Gymboree and Crew Cuts (though I THINK their clothes might not come in infant sizes?) There's a Hanna Anderson there too I think. I have a ton of Carters stuff that was gifted to me and I want some other things. Might hit an Old Navy too.
Pretty much the same stores where most of DS's wardrobe comes from: Gap Old Navy Janie & Jack Carter's Sometimes I find cute stuff at Marshall's and Nordstrom Rack
For whatever reason, I just don't like shopping at Gymboree and Children's Place. The closest mall to me doesn't have Hanna Andersson, so DS's only HA clothes have been gifts.
And I will always browse what's on sale at Nordstrom, Macy's and Lord & Taylor. H & M has some baby stuff but I can't deal with the disorganization of their stores.
I've also bought a ton of headbands so far - from a local mom swap page and from Cora's Cuties on etsy.

Crew cuts has infant/baby online and in the store at the Burlington Mall. I don't know about the outlet, if they do let me know!!!

I'm not doing the clothes thing so much this time around, but some of my all time favorites (not mentioned, because goodness knows the closet is full of Janie&Jack and Gap) from my son were:
H&M Hanna Andersson Kickee Pants (mostly because of how they felt moreso than cuteness factor) Zutano Hatley Mini-Boden Tea Collection
I still haven't bought a single baby related item. That streak will certainly end in 2 weeks when we get to confirm their sexes. My poor wallet if I really do get to buy both boy and girl clothes!

I bought like 2 things, then we found out the sex and all hell has broken loose!
I didn't buy much till after my shower, but now I kind of wish I had all along because a lot of what I got is kind of NMS :/
This is kinda what I suspect might happen at at least one of my showers. The one my sister is throwing I think will be fine but I think the one my MIL is doing might lead to some returns or donations. TBD!
I also am going to my brothers tomorrow to go through baby clothes with his wife, they have two girls. They have pretty different tastes than I have but I think I should be able to get some good basics at least.

I haven't even thought about it. I will probably wait until after my shower and then after the birth once we can confirm sex before going all out. Once we know what it is I can also go shopping in my cousins' hand-me-down piles. This baby is going to be getting a lot of clothing as Christmas gifts.

yeah, we got a lot of clothes at the shower and I think we're mostly set! I'm trying not to buy too much until she's here and I know what we like, what size she is, etc. Baby clothes can be expensive! Most of the stuff I have bought has been on clearance at Target, Kohls, Macys. I went shopping with my mom and we found a ton of stuff for cheap in Feb. My mom and MIL bought us a lot of stuff andwe got a TON of hand me downs from my SIL. I'm trying to avoid spending too much!

I have SO MANY CLOTHES for Baby. OMG! He has more clothes than me and my DH. I have washed three full loads of laundry with all the clothes I've been gifted. I really am grateful for all of the clothes, but I'm also bummed that I didn't pick out his wardrobe. Oh well!
A lot of his clothes came from Carter's and Gymboree. Zulilly has some cute clothes every now and then. I may buy some outfits from there down the road.
Baby clothes. Lol. I just bought my first maternity clothes yesterday.
Maternity clothes suck, BTW. I am starting to find dressing myself to be stressful.
I have been rotating three pairs of pants for weeks. I can't wait till its dress weather I have some sundresses which will give more options for the rotation.
I have a boy, so keep that in mind: Baby Gap Next Direct Gymboree Random brands from Zulilly PACT for onesies Hanna Anderson (sleepers only, the clothes are a little girly IMO) Carters in a pinch
I haven't bought a lot yet. a couple onesies from my alma mater, a gown from ON, some Carter's onesies and sleepers from Kohl's cuz they were on sale. a lot of BabyLegs when I had an excellent coupon. and a ton of stuff at yard sales last weekend (4 grocery bags full for a total of $25, sizes NB to 12M). I'm waiting to see what we get at my showers before doing a bunch of shopping. my sister also has some hand me downs I'll probably go through.
Some from Joe Fresh, but that's probably not helpful for you as it's a Canadian store.
We have Joe Fresh! I am wearing a Joe Fresh sweater right now.( Sad that I had to wear a sweater today, isn't it?) I had no idea they sell baby clothes.

Really? I had no idea.. I wonder when they expanded into the states. I know it was Canadian-only for a while.

And yes! They have cute, affordable baby clothes.
They've been in NYC for at least 3 years. I'm sure they are in other major cities as well.

SIL and BIL have a boy and a girl, so a lot of L's clothes have been hand me downs. Loads of what they pass down are NMS though, so those get donated and I supplement with kohl's and carter's.
I didn't buy any clothes for her until she was in 18 months. Once people found out she was a girl they went crazy with outfits. A lot of stuff wasn't my style, but then it didn't bother me when she made it messy. Now I buy all of her clothes at Carter's.
