What are you guys doing for Mother's Day?

This is my first one as an actual mom, PLUS my parents are coming to visit, so I want to make plans that will make both me and my mom happy. Any recommendations?

I'm not sure if we are doing anything. Last year we drove up to MIL's and brought brunch so she wouldn't have to do anything. It was nice and I love spending the time with her so we will see what their schedule is like and might do something similar.

Think I'll just be sending my moms flowers. As for MIL, will see what she would like to do - probably make brunch reservations or something. She'll have soooo many flowers at the house already.

I tried making brunch reservations a couple weeks ago at places we have gone before and it was already too late. Not sure what my momwNts to do. We always do a brunch buffett.

I'm going to a mother/daughter luncheon at my mom's church. I hate that kind of stuff and she knows it, so that is a gift. I'm going to take her for pedicures before.

If I was a mom, I would do brunch reservations somewhere with a good brunch buffet.

Guess I need to start on making my mom a card. I usually just send her a gift card since I live so far away. I'll get creative this year, she broke up with her massage person and her and dad are on weird diets. I may see if they've narrowed down when they are coming to Chicago later this year and see if I cant book tickets to something and knock out Mother's day and Father's day.
