I'm still up because I had to shower, bake and do laundry for tomorrow. We are doing a baby dedication for Chase and if I don't get some things done tonight we won't have time in the morning.
@starry man that sounds brutal! Glad you got packed!
1at wake up over here! So nice to get some sleep.
Anyone watch the Bruce Jenner story? What a divea keeping this secret over the Kardashians' drama I'm happy for him to finally be happy. Seems like he has some really good kids.
First wake up here. Poor guy usually is hot and sweaty but tonight was cold so I changed his outfit. He has a sinus grunt thing going on too, but no runny nose. Ugh.
Oh, and I watched the Jenner interview. Thought it was good! I'm glad he is being real with himself. He seemed like he is happier than he was on the kardashian show!

Wakeup 1 here.
DS is a mystery wet sleepsack kid tonight, I pick him up and he's soaked all over, but I take the sleepsack off and his onesie is bone dry. He had a wet diaper but nothing crazy. So I honestly don't know if he spit up a bunch (which he does) or his diaper magically leaked.
Strange times at my house......
Hope you are sleeping now @starry, sorry your night sucked
Baby was insatiable from 9-10. I finally cut him off at 10 because I think he was just using my nips as a pacifier. So, this is wake up 1. I got 3.5 hours and am really excited about going back to sleep.
Wake up number 2. DH is back, but exhausted. I told him I'd give him tonight to recover. I handled our older son who woke to go pee-pee plus he'd be way to excited because daddy's home. I've done all the wake ups for DS2.
I have absolutely no recollection of whether J last ate at 10:30 or 1:30 before this 3 am feeding. So he either just did a 4.5-hour stretch or a 1.5-hour one. How can I not know this?! I know I was up at 1:30, but I think it was just me and I was expecting him to wake up any minute. I am so tired I can't see straight. I am "sleeping" on the couch tonight with J in the RnP next to me, and he is so loud that I have slept maybe 30 minutes the whole night.
Trying to convince DS that 4:30 is not a reasonable time to start your day on a Saturday.
Same over here but it was 3:45 this morning. It keeps getting earlier and earlier. It's ridiculous! And he was all happy, babbling away, resisting all attempts to go back to sleep. He's currently playing with his egg shakers, happy as a clam. I on the other hand, am not. Ugh!
Wake up 2, though 1 was about 3 hrs long :/ my kid has a scary physical reaction to sleeping in a bassinet, rnp and now pnp. He grunts and squirms and makes horrible noises then is inconsolable. I am so frustrated. We resorted to putting the boppy infant lounger between our pillows on the bed and he wAs happy sleeping there :/ any suggestions on something else to try? I'm about to go to buy buy baby and buy something else to try, I'm so desperate.
Wake up #1 here. She slept a solid 6 again (woot, woot!) and we managed 4. Score either way! We went out to dinner since DH got a much larger than normal check and had sushi for the first time since I got KU'd. I'm terrified on how the rest if my night will go since she is super sensitive to what I eat. So in an hour I could have a crying or a sleeping baby. Please, please be the sleeping one!
We tried splitting nights (as in I sleep in his room and take all the wakeups for a night on Friday and then he does Saturday so we each get a full night of sleep).
Yeah. Not good.
I got about 42 minutes of sleep because he is a constant sleep talker/grunter/moaner and he was doing it at TOP volume last night. I have no idea how he sleeps while doing that. The wakeups weren't bad (11, 3 and 6), but ugh.
H is taking his night tonight and then we are not trying this again until he is a silent sleeper!
I just realized my post was kind of insensitive because most of you have to do full night shifts every night due to BFing. I think you are amazing and awesome. I am not happy BFing didn't work out for me, but I honestly don't know how I would have done it either.

I don't think your post was insensitive, don't worry. Sleep deprivation happens to all parents regardless of feeding choice and when their child is older has nothing to do with feeding but teeth, separation anxiety, monster and wanting to sit on the potty a million times?.
Everyone just finds a rhythm that works for them. Our is EBF and it works for us (although sometimes I wish DH could grow breasts!!) you will find yours. As your son gets older and you find a rhythm you won't hear all the little noises he makes in his sleep and he will also grow out of it.
I find this thread a comfort in the MOTN, just knowing others are up comforting their child regardless of how and why.
