Ugh B is being a beast and we're having the most awkward birthday party for him. Only grandparents were invited. my MIL and FIL are divorced - not amicably at all. Well, they both showed up an hour early to have B open their presents without the other here (without asking us). Backfired, awkward silences and a ktstorm who hasn't showered yet ...
I'm currently hiding in my room nursing E and letting my H deal with everyone.
I am so excited about my race, but I was also supposed to meet up with careyalis today and I am devastated I couldn't because Carter's rash for the amoxicillin is so scary looking now, I have to take him in. Super sad party of one. I wanted to give Blake about a hundred kisses!
Super sad party of two! But you need to take care of that sweet baby. We will make it happen soon . Love you!

You GUYS, H played defense today. She was so timid at the start of the season and now she's chasing girls down and getting in front of them and attempting to get the ball (soccer). She has never done this. She stopped two goals, had to play all 4 quarters and was basically a different kid out there. She tried so hard and took a few hits but brushed it off. I'm so proud that she is overcoming her fears and working so hard.
imimahoney are you around? I noticed yesterday at Wegmans that most of the Udi brand products are gluten, soy and dairy free. They have bread, muffins, donuts and lots of other carby things. Everything we have tried has been really good!
The muffins are so good and would always boost my supply.

I love the blueberry ones. Which ones do you like? Supply boosting is a good excuse to eat muffins. I got the tamales from TJ you suggested! They are so good!

Blueberry and chocolate chocolate chip. Yum.
I'm glad you like the Tamales! I just put them on my shopping list.
We are having our friends over tonight for dinner. It's the one that was in th hospital a week ago for heart failure. I am going to attempt to make a good, low sodium meal. Marinated and grilled chicken/pork chops (EVOO, honey, garlic, lemon), Rosemary and roasted garlic mashed potatoes, and brown sugar glazed carrots. I hope it turns out good!
I'm so proud of my little munchkin today! He's gone in the potty all morning, with only one accident! I'm more worried about pooping in the potty, or the lack of, but I'm going to call this morning a win! Too bad we're tied to the house today, it's beautiful outside.
Your sadness is harder than mine! How long will he be gone?
2 months. But it doesn't matter if they are gone 2 days or 2 months. .. the missing them is what sucks. And you have to do it all on your own! I have my mom's help. Big hugs to you!
That is so long! I'm glad you have your mom's help, but it just isn't the same. I hope the time goes really fast for you!

Go H!!! I'm so glad that soccer is bringing out her confidence!
Nursing in public success today! Nursing was always an ordeal with L and I was always self-conscious. This new one is easy to nurse and I couldn't care less about what others think this time around. So today while we were out at breakfast I was able to nurse DS while he was wrapped in the K'tan. I am so relieved that I can make this work and keep up our active lifestyle!
Yay! Which position did you have your baby in? I have one too, and I'm not sure how the best way to do it would be.

S/O, DH brought home udi cinnamon roles which I didn't know existed. Have you tried them?
Sydney randomly has a 99.5 fever. Of course this is happening when DH is leaving tomorrow morning. I am praying hard that it doesn't turn into anything, since I will be alone to deal with it.

Well, I hadn't really planned on NIP, so I didn't look up different wrap positions ahead of time and just kind of played it by ear. But by looking at the K'tan website, it looks like I kind of used a modified version of the "kangaroo". Except, in my version DS was placed lower and more at a diagonal so he would have better access to the breast. I was sitting down, so I could give him support/hold him. I wouldn't have been able to walk around with him the way I had him wrapped. I used the K'tan more for complete coverage.

Carter needs medicine by IV for his amoxicillin reaction. And they told Matt it will get worse before it gets better until the medicine is completely out of his system. I want to cry. My poor, sweet boy. He gets SO upset for shots, I am praying they don't have to stick him so much for the IV. I feel sick thinking about it. I'm home with Annabella.
I bought a new Kinderpack today! This is the largest size and will fit him nicely for quite some time. We even used it a bit right away when we went to the store and he was tired. Now I just need to resell the old one.

Poor thing! Is he going to a children's hospital for it? If so, see if they can get a phlebotomist to put it in instead of a nurse. They do it all the time and are much more practiced at getting it in quickly.

Oh poor sweetie! I hope they can get it on the first try and he starts feeling better asap!
