I have a roast already in the crockpot, dishes done and just finished watching the latest episode of Outlander, now I think I'll put in LOTR or HP and do some cleaning and laundry!

We are hopefully meeting up with H's cousin and aunt today! Then heading home. It's been a long but nice weekend! I got to sleep in a bit today because H brought E up to my mom when he woke up and she took care of him while we slept. We need to come down here more often
We went wine tasting today at 3 wineries. We planned 2 but 3 sounded better lol. Now we are home relaxing. Actually DH is napping and I am trying to find something good on tv.
I slept in, went out to lunch with H and J, and now I'm about to finish the season of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. I also just caught up on buying presents for various upcoming showers, graduations and birthdays, and edited some photos for a photo book I'm working on. Also, I swear J just LAUGHED when I talked to him in a squeaky voice and made a funny face. I know they're not supposed to laugh yet, but my mom was here too so she can confirm I'm not crazy. It melted my heart. It is a good day!
We tried to move a bunch of crap to storage but had a slight fiasco at storage company. Got that figured out but stopped after the one load of patio furniture.
While we were out that way we looked at another new home construction. They have three lots/houses in our price range, but would require being next to the interstate. There is a sound wall up, and it wasn't bad today, but no idea how it'd be during workday commuting times. (For reference, we have a highway right next to our current place. Took me a few months to get used to hearing it while lying in bed, but now it's normal background noise. The new place would be a ranch, which might help with the noise being blocked by sound wall.) Basically same price as the ones we saw out in the boonies last weekend, but in a much better town and school district, with a better commute for H.
H got out of the house and played golf with his dad & a few friends. I have cuddled our little one, cleaned the kitchen, done 2 loads of laundry, & watched a lot of hgtv. I haven't left the house since our first doctors appt. & haven't driven since before going to the hospital (2 weeks tomorrow!). Depending on when he gets home, I may run to the grocery store but that may have to wait till tomorrow. Flip or flop is addicting!!! I wish I had money to buy houses, take the risk, Reno, & re-sell!!
I'm working tonight and the dogs woke the baby up from his nap twice. They're walking on thin ice...
HoneySpider I noticed you received your doctorate from the same college my parents went to and also where they met. I say this in the most non-creeper/skinsuity way.
I got a ton of cleaning and laundry done this weekend, which was great. I started taking Zyrtec for allergies, and it must be making me drowsy because I keep falling asleep on the couch all afternoon. I suppose I had nothing else to do, so whatever.

Uggggh I'm so pissed at one of the cats. We came home to find a few jackets we left on the shoe bench peed on. WTF. He was obviously having fun because there was a bunch of other stuff knocked over or moved too. The food dish was empty so maybe he was pissed about that but we gave them plenty of food before we left. I am SO sick of him peeing on things! I don't believe in getting rid of pets unless it's an extreme circumstance but he's seriously on my last nerve. I don't know what to do with him anymore. He's constantly into EVERYTHING and this isn't the first time he's peed on stuff randomly. And it's not like he's a kitten, he's 4. I don't know what to do
estrellita That's so frustrating. I know nothing about cats, but could you confine him to a certain room or area while you're away? Do you think a few more litter boxes around would help? I remember this question on the Pets board a few times, and people always asked if maybe the cat has a UTI?

Grr sounds like the pets of WC are on the naughty list this week! Our dog gets my spot when I get up to feed the baby, then growls at me when I try to tip toe back into bed. A) I'm freaking exhausted. Move. B) you wake that baby you are becoming an outside dog. (Not really).
DS has a weigh-in in the morning and then I have an appt to get my staples out. I'm looking forward to getting out of the house! Also I hope DS gained a little so I can feel more confident about bf.

I'm not sure confining them would help. We could put them in the bedroom where the litter boxes are but water in a bowl would be spilled in 5 minutes, lol. There also isn't really room for other litter boxes anywhere else which is why E doesn't have his own room. We've taken him in before and they always give him antibiotics just in case. Either it's not an infection or else he gets them constantly. I think we're going to have to call and see if they have any other ideas. I don't want to pay $80 again if it isn't going to help the only thing I can really think of this time we were gone from Fri morning until just a couple hours ago but it's not like we haven't left them for that long before.

I Have had a fantastic day today. I slept in until 10:30. I also got in 18 holes of disk golf. AND made delicious dinner. I have also indulged in some Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy beer. God I love spring.
I'm working tonight and the dogs woke the baby up from his nap twice. They're walking on thin ice...

Nice! Do they ever go back?
Yes they do! They had a reunion somewhat recently and this year my dad went back to be inducted into their hall of fame. Ah, the glory days. My dad always wears javelina tshirts and I'm always shocked at how many people come up to him and say they went there too. Also, my mom grew up near there so that area is "home" to her even though my grandparents don't live there anymore.
