"Why would you ruin perfectly good peanuts by adding candy corn? That's like saying hey, I have these awesome nachos, guess I better add some dryer lint." - Nonny

I don't know I am willing to give even the kardashians the benefit of the doubt on this mostly because I want to believe even though they are fame hungry that they actually do love and support Bruce. They are all damned if they do speak out and damned if they don't. Hopefully she keeps it klassy and then moves on. If she starts making the talk show rounds only on this topic you all can tell me "I told you so".

I disagree with you on the damned if they do, damned if they don't part because how hard would it have been for them to simply give a quote of support? By saying "no comment" or lying, like Kris is doing and saying ABC never contacted her it just out right fucked up in my opinion.
But I also admit I hate the 3 Kardashian's girls and their mother with a passion.

I also don't want to give them the benefit of the doubt but it is possible that their KUWTK contract requires this given it's on an NBC owned network.

My hope is just that any support they show, even if it's attention whore-ish, draws attention to the issues transgender people face and lends itself to a greater audience being understanding, open-minded, and compassionate.
Whether or not I like the Kardashians, they have a huge following and even if they are making it about them, it's still opening up the discussion and putting a spotlight on something important.
I did have to chuckle when Bruce said in his interview, "All this time *I* was the one with the real story!"
Me too! #diva
This, for me, was the best part of the entire interview hands down! I was a little disappointed that Kendall and Kylie weren't interviewed like the other Jenner kids, but they both tweeted and instagrammed their support beforehand. Kris is a big douche, and I hate that she had "no comment".

Is this purely to talk about Bruce? I mean, it's a given that any interview they do now, they will be asked about it. But if this is just to give her "reaction" about Bruce, than fuck her.

I hope that's just a teaser snippet to get you to watch, and not what the "exclusive interview" is going to be all about. I agree with @booby - she will have to talk about it, but I don't think it's right for her to give an interview just about that.
But again, I've been seeing lots of news stories about his previous wifes' "side of the story", so I guess the Kardashians are just another version.

I am not a Kardashian supporter but to continue to keep the story about Bruce it was smart to do the interview. Had she not the dialogue would go on indefinitely about how she felt about it. She addressed it and should lessen the tabloid speculation on where she stands.
Listen, people, the reason Kim is commenting here and not on the Diane Sawyer interview is that the Kardashians have a longstanding relationship with NBC and the Sawyer interview was on ABC.
Mark my words. This is why there was "no comment" and the like. It has nothing to do with how they feel and everything to do with money.
Which, you know, I don't care. If they're supportive then they're supportive on two broadcast networks instead of one. Good.

ahhhh - makes sense!
Guess who owns E!? NBC UNIVERSAL. I just googled that. I'm pretty much the smartest person ever that I figured this out.
