All I have to say is TTC can be challenging with a 3 year old who is suddenly scared of everything and doesn't want to sleep alone. He must enjoy the only child status. Lol.
Is the not driving rule after having a baby just a c section thing? Or can vaginal birth moms not drive either?
I've only ever heard a restriction on c/s with the exception on the drive home from the hospital. Really though with the lack of sleep after giving birth there should be a restriction!

Dylan has a random day off of school next Monday (snow day that wasn't used) and DH has off so I took Monday off and we are going to the Milwaukee Zoo! We are going down Sunday and because it is Sunday night, I got the room super cheap! Now I just need to find a kid friendly restaurant for dinner on Sunday.

For real. I had to call my mom to drive us to Owens first appointment after H went back to work because I was just too tired.
Everyone accidentally slept until 7;30 this morning ( I haven't set an alarm in 8 years because my kids are usually such early birds). H has school at 7:55 and the cleaning lady comes at 8. A true miracle occurred because we all actually got out on time. It was utter chaos.

I know for C-sections, my doctor always says two weeks minimum depending on how you feel. Must be pain med free. If you feel up to it you can drive to your two week follow up.
I was told not to drive for two weeks after both my vaginal births. I was told it wasn't a medication thing so much as the body and mind needing to adjust post-partum.
I just jogged for 20 minutes straight! I'm still really slow--DH says 4 mph isn't jogging, just fast walking, but I told him to shut it; it's still the movement of jogging--and I thought I was going to die at the end, but I did it. Now I just need to work on speed.
I drove myself home from the hospital after I had M. Fwiw, H drove the boys in his car. I had gone in for monitoring and ended up being admitted and induced. I don't remember them telling me not to drive, though they very well at have.
No one told me not to drive after my vaginal births. I drove myself to a blood-pressure checkup one week post partum after B, and to E's one-week pedi appt.
Why is it that even though I showered last night, had all of our clothes laid out, and bags packed it still took us nearly 2 hours to get out of the house this morning? It's like the more prepared I am, the slower B moves!

I'm glad you got some extra rest! It's the best when you wake up late and STILL make it on time! (high5)
(I may or may not have woken up late this morning, lol)

Friday was supposed to be the boys last day at their daycare. We are at the beach Mon-Wed and they would start at a new place Thursday. Someone texted me this morning and the new daycare gave notice to parents that they are closing Friday. WTF?
I complained to building management because it's really cold on my floor at work. They said since the building heat has been turned off completely for the season there isn't much that can be done.
So the building is just without heat completely which seems ridiculous. It's 50 degrees outside. I think they should have kept the heat on longer!
their solution was to wait until the sun comes up and warms the building.
Hugs ashleydl83laurack she is beautiful. Looks like she had a blast! kdrake8: Clara, what's wrong? (Through fake tears) " I don't feel well, so I guess I dush need ice cream" (more fake tears)
