I think Brie mentioned having one of these? We're still using our 2002 model, which is the hugest PITA to clean (no removable plates). So, I'm ready to upgrade. But there are so many different models on Amazon.
Which one is the one that you can also use to make waffles and other stuff? Or did I make up that feature? We've only used ours to grill meat (no outdoor grill).

Not sure which model we have, but I'm not too much of a fan. It has removable plates but no temperature control, just an on/off switch. Nicer models have a temp. setting feature--I'd narrow it down to those at the very least.
I've never made waffles on it, but we have this one with removable plates. We had an old version prior to this as well that and the removable plates are so much better!
I got one years ago (also w/o removeable plates) and have used it maybe five times over the years. When I want to "grill" without using the bbq, I use my cast iron grill pan on the stove; I think it gives much better results.
I know I've mentioned it on here a few times. We have the George Foreman Evolve and really like it. We use it at least 3 times a week for dinners! Here it shows which additional plates you can get including a waffle one. Seriously, this thing is money well spent!!!

The griddle plates are out of stock on Amazon, darn it! The universe hates me...
