Baby J received a lot of gifts yesterday at his baptism. I'm going to order thank you cards today. I found some nice blank cards on Tiny Prints which I can personalize with his name/monogram. Or should I be using my own personal thank you cards since I'll be the one signing them?
Also, any recs for baby food storage? Our ped gave us the go-ahead to start solids at 5 months. I plan on using regular ice cube trays to freeze his food, and then storing them in freezer ziplock bags. Does this make sense, or am I just being cheap? Also, can you recomend any storage serving containers for daycare? I was on Amazon earlier today, and became overwhelmed by all of the options.
My thank you cards have always come on stationary with my kids' names, even when I've been the obvious writer. I'm thanking people for gifts to them, not gifts to me.
I got a bunch of fancy baby cubes (and a Beaba Babycook) as a hand-me-down from a friend and used them for all of 1 month before we went to finger foods. So, I wouldn't make a big investment.
monogrammed thank you cards are an excellent idea! and I've already found some that I love. but we're not sharing his name before birth, so I'm not sure if I want to share his initials yet either???
