I'm starting this now in hopes that I won't have wake up #1 last 6 hours like last night :/
Tonight we had the first non crying:screaming bath in his month of life!! I got in the bath with him and used a little sling thing that came with a tub I had. I bathed him and handed him off to my h then dried myself off. It was glorious!
DS has barely slept today. He took one two hour nap and a few others under half an hour each. He just went down for another half hour after much cajoling and is now awake and eating. I'm praying he actually goes to sleep for real after this. I think DH and I may lose it if he doesn't.
He has not yet gone to sleep. Since 5 pm, he has slept 40 minutes. It is now 10:17. I am pretty sure he only slept for two hours all day. How does such a tiny baby stay awake that long?! I am more tired than he is!
He is currently in the rock n play, and I am praying he is close to dozing off. I am so tired.

We just got home. My little nephew is really cute. Waiting around the waiting room wasn't the greatest, but the kids did great. And did I mention that my nephew is really cute? Cuz he is.
So baby was asleep and then my h comes in and he wakes up... My h says "no problem I'll put him back to sleep" and two hours later he's still awake. Selfishly I want to go back to sleep but I think I'm going to relieve him... He has to work after all right?
I'm up with a really sick kid. He keeps spiking a high fever of unknown origin. If he's not better by Wednesday the pedi wants us to start running tests at the children's hospital. I need him to get better.
Wake up 1. Took 2.5 hours to get her to sleep and she slept 3 hours. So tired. Why won't you go back to those 5-6 hour stretches baby! I know you can do it.
My 9 wk old dd has gone back to sleeping 1.5-2hr at a time. I'm ready to cry. I thought we were making some progress with her 3hr stretch. 2 steps forward 1 step back. I'm so tired and frustrated.

@choco no but he has to work in the morning. I went into the nursery and he was on his tablet while baby was stomach sleeping in the crib. That's how he wants to sleep :/ now he's asleep in my lap and I'm sitting in bed. Tried to put him in the rnp and horrible noises ensued. Also tried the boppy infant lounger. Nope.
@neener sounds just like mine.
bowies sounds scary, sorry you have to deal with that!
We're on wake up 1, I guess. He actually slept for close to 3 hours.
Ugh. And he just threw up everything he ate. Poor kid. He is going back to sleep, so I guess wake up 2 is going to be sooner than I was hoping for. Joy.
we've had such a good run with sttn, but my 14mo is acting like a newborn again. I'm alternating Motrin/Tylenol, I fed him a pouch at 12:30 to make sure he wasn't starving after a picky dinner (ate half and pushed away the rest), checked his diaper, nursed a ton... I wish I could magically make it better for him.
We officially moved the girls into dd1's room saturday night. It's gone...not awesome? We are moving from Bedsharing with dd2 and dd1 coming into our bed every night. There were 3 wake ups the first night, and 3 last night between the two of them. At 3 am i woke up surprised that they were still sleeping-jokes on me! They've both been up since about then. I'm trying to not sleep on either of their beds. I keep telling myself we're going to be better about getting DS in a crib from the start. It seems unlikely given our track number, but third times the charm, right?

You are EPing, right? Does she need a bigger bottle? My son is one week older and we just increased his bottles to 4oz which seems to help him sleep longer. And we'll be sure to offer a little extra between 6 & 8pm though he usually shows he's extra hungry then anyway.

My kid "STTN" again but was wide awake and ready for the day at 4:00 so he slept 9 1/4 hours which isn't nearly enough. He resists all attempts to put him back to sleep but is happy as a clam when I turn on his lamp and give him books to look at. I'm happy for the nice long stretch but 4:00 is way too early!

I wonder if im doing bottle feeding wrong. After each pumping session I leave 2- 4oz bottles out and dd just eats whenever. Sometimes she just snacks on an ounce here or there or like right now she just ate the whole 4 oz in one sitting. (Which is rare). Should I be offering a bottle at more set times? At this point she just kind of grazes all day and I do end up tossing a lot of uneaten breast milk down the drain.
My kiddo has put himself on a strict routine: 3.5-4 ounces exactly every three hours during the day and four at night. We never tried to establish one, but we can practically set an alarm clock to the specific times he'll want to be fed.
So he was up at 1:45 and 5:45 last night. I will take that because 5:45 is when I'll have to wake up for work when I go back, which makes this basically one MOTN wakeup for me.
