We can give you recommendations but the best thing is to go get fitted by a true fit specialist (not just Victoria's Secret). I just went to Nordstrom and the bras that I liked and used to wear prior to DD fit completely different. The fit specialist worked to find a good bra that was flattering under clothes, and it ended up being a different size than what I usually take. It's really comfortable and I'm not pulling it up all night.
That said, do you have a budget? Also are you bustier or a slimmer build? Natori is a great brand for people who are smaller chested/slimmer, Chantelle and Elle McPhereson are great for average builds and Wacoal is excellent for bustier builds.

Yup. I used to hate strapless bras because they always fell down. I was wearing a 34" band. My ribcage actually measures 28" - no wonder they all fell down! I have this in a 28 band and it DOES NOT BUDGE. I just purchased another one in a different color, too!

I don't really have a budget. Under $100 I guess. I am a 38d so sort of bustier I guess. Thanks for the advice. I will try and PPP in if I am near a nordstrom

You're welcome! Nordstrom is amazing, it's so weird to have them in the room with you but they know so much and will work to find the best fit. I worked at Saks with a fit specialist and she taught me so much
