1st trimester/sleeping in newly painted room

Ditto. If I had a choice of another comfy bed I'd take it. But if my other choice is a shitty sofa or something, then no.

Honestly I would sleep in there and the thought wouldn't even cross my mind to sleep elsewhere. Is that bad? (huh) I just don't get worked up about ALL THE THINGS you have to avoid when pregnant. I'm not doing coke off my nightstand FFS, just sleeping in a freshly painted room.

If it bugs you, though, and it's NBD to sleep elsewhere, you can always do that for peace of mind.

I am also really irritated that my DH has put weed and feed and other things on the grass, which i know are pesticides.  I think I am paranoid.

Eh, don't worry about it. Everybody has their "thing". If it makes you uncomfortable then by all means sleep elsewhere.

I would sleep there without hesitation. I painted 75% of my house throughout my pregnancy. 1 room right after I found out I was pregnant, one in the middle of my pregnancy, and the rest late in my pregnancy. I think my son is normal

I would sleep in there if I could tolerate the smell.

Blood supply isn't shared until 6 weeks. So anything you inhale wouldn't get to the baby yet, right?

I would sleep there. I painted the master bath, closet, and part of the bedroom while pregnant.

I agree but would probably sleep elsewhere just because the paint smell would really get to me pregnant or not about 3am. I agree its harmless but it just gets to me.

I would sleep somewhere else, I have a sensitive sense of smell under normal circumstances - during pregnancy it's 100x worse.

Unless you're licking the walls you're fine. I mean, even if you are following the avoid for 2 days rule, its been 2 days, right? I'd just put the fan on or crack the windows and that's it.

Also, probably don't roll around in the grass

If it isn't giving you a headache I wouldn't worry. I painted every kids' room while I was pregnant though.

Unless the smell bothered me I'd sleep there.

I'd open the window and sleep in my own bed. Especially with low-VOC paint.
