My interviews yesterday went really well, but both jobs want me to interview with one more person. AGH. Come on! Job A, the one I really, really want, is looking really possible--at this point I think the last interview is just a formality. I got awesome feedback in the interviews. Job B is still really vague about compensation, and it doesn't offer insurance or retirement, so I'm mainly sticking around to get an offer and see how much it is. He did say he hopes to make me an offer by the end of the week, though, so now I need to rush Job A along somehow so I can compare!

pugz informed me last night that Anna Duggar is delivering at my Birth Center so now I am going to be on hyper alert each time I go to see if she is there Not that I watch the show or really know what she looks like lol BUT it be funny to see her.
I'm sitting in the parking lot waiting to go in to this seminar. No way am I going in any earlier than 5 minutes prior to start. Enjoying my coffee with the windows down.
Exercise girls go look up Jessica Smith TV pilates for standing abs. Best 12 minutes of your life. It has done good things for my core strength. It's also short and simple enough I taught dd to do it with me. A good challenge but it requires you to use your abs naturally which for idiots like me who have had 3 kids in five years and need to think about how its pretty fun.
Thank you for this! I need to work on my core. I think I am going to do one of those month ab challenges, but I'll keep this bookmarked for June!
i toured the daycare from hell yesterday. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. I have two more tours today, and one tomorrow. Cross your fingers one of these works out!

Oooh thanks! I was just thinking last night that my stomach would look so much better if I just knew how to engage my abs more!
We are binge-watching Daniel Tiger because we are having some frustration issues in the mornings. "When you feel so mad that you want to roar..."
Ha. I do this with dd when she's having a terribLe day. Usually works. Start with the episode that moSt relates. Doc Mcstuffins calms her too for some reason.
When Daniel Tiger asked "What makes you mad?" DD replied, "When mommy doesn't help me." (wilted)
(I wouldn't help her get dressed this morning because she wouldn't stop throwing fits and kicking. She gets herself dressed 75% of the time, so she's perfectly capable...so I left the room and told her I couldn't help her until she calmed down. It still broke my heart when she said that to the TV. I'll help you! Just not while you're kicking and screaming.)
@justdairy will definitely check it out. Looking for some stuff like that to add to my workouts
sjh722 first off you are rock star for surviving yesterday. I think I will try the wrinkle repair. I use the basic face lotion with SPF but need to step it up. My friend is selling some stuff in one of those pyramid schemes for 100$ - no thank you. $15 sounds just right.
@simpledog your hairstyle sounds better them mine. Ponytail everyday all the time!
All you fitbit women- go check out my post. I need help deciding what to get!
My 87lb dog literally knocked me out of bed last night. He normally either sleeps on the end of the bed or his dog bed but for some reason decided at 2:30 that he HAD to be exactly where I was sleeping. Good thing he is so cute because he is so freaking quirky.

Is it the same birth center as last time? Isn't that far from them, I thought they lived out more in the 'burbs!
I am using the same one as last time, in Old Town. I can't remember where they live, but I think they are having a home birth, and the midwives will go out to the burbs. Heck, most of them live in the burbs!

Aww... It is good for her to at least recognize her emotions so take it as a win. We work with rubes on this a lot. really has helped the whining. H and I laugh because she watchea DT worth this look like you people really get me.
Of course now she's whining she doesn't b know how to quit whining. You win some lose some.
I just got the family/maternity pictures from our re-shoot. I love our photographer, but I wish she'd tell me when my hair is laying funny or when my necklace is in a distracting location. Some of the ones that I really like have stupid distracting stuff like that...stuff that I know nobody else would notice when they're glancing at the pictures on the wall because it's really just me being hypercritical of myself, but I notice it!!
I have my D&C tomorrow, and I'm on cycle day 46 with no period in sight. So, of course I took a hpt last night. There was something on it, inside the time frame, but it looked like an evap line. I saved the test and now can't see anything on it this morning. Plus, I took another one and it was definitely negative. So I'm slightly freaking out, probably for nothing though, right?

I had the sweetest conversation with ds while he was eating his yogurt before daycare. He was just in a great mood this morning and so chatty. Talking about all the kids that go on the bus from daycare, brushing his teeth and going night night at Meh Meh's (Grandma's). He's starting to put sentences together and it's just so cute!
Tonight we are getting sand for his new sandbox and it is going to be gorgeous out! At least I can look at the nice weather from my desk.

I'm definitely going to check this out. At the gym they always say to brace your core and I always need to think and try to figure out how :/.
I describe it this way "stand up straight, pull up through your pelvic floor (like you're doing a kegel) and pull your belly button toward your spine".
My coworker is wearing the most adorable dress from Old Navy today. I love the pattern and the fit would look good on my body type. I can't find it online and it's bugging me. She just bought it in store so it's a recent purchase. Come on Old Navy!

In my DS's kindergarten class, the classtime projects they are working on is writing each other letters. THe letters he has come home with from his classmates are the cutest things ever. One little boy told him "I like basketball. I like football. I like to see you are the soccer field." [DS ran into this little boy once when he was at soccer practice last fall]. Kindergarteners are just so sweet!
We just found out the time for our mandatory town hall isn't 1pm, it's 12pm. I am so fucking tired of people scheduling shit during lunch. If you know that you have site in various time zones, how about your plan to have the least number of people affected? The east coast is the biggest group, but yet, you always cater to the central time folks.
bananapancakes when is bedtime? DD doesn't go to bed until 8:00.
Usually around 7:00 but it doesn't seem to matter. Last night was 7:45, still up at 4:15. We've tried everything from 6:30-8:30 and they all have similar results. A later bedtime just seems to mean less sleep. Wake up was 5:00 (and I thought that was bad! Ha!) until about a week or two ago and then it started creeping forward to this ridiculous hour. On a positive note, there've been no MOTN wake ups in almost two weeks! Although some would argue that 4:15 is still MOTN!
I can relate to this! DD is turning one in a few days and just recently started sttn. The super early morning wake ups are really tough for me! I am such a better person for the entire day if I can get a cup of coffee before she wakes up, but she's been waking up at 4:30ish so that hasn't been happening. I've tried moving her bedtime back and it doesn't make a difference at all. So, we're still doing a 7:00 pm bedtime. And, like you said, she will be rubbing her eyes for a nap by around 6am! This new schedule really has me confused.
So I asked my OB to trim my IUD strings because H said he felt them and they hurt during sex. She can't find them at all so I'm waiting for an ultrasound. Yay.

It's lion (line) dancing day. Nods won't dance with us yet, but I was showing my husband the other day and she was trying to dance with me. It was super cute. Lately everyone's favorite song is American Kid. It's really catchy, is it new?
Chase figured out crawling last night before bed, but slept horribly and wanted to nurse all night long.

Ah crap. Fingers crossed it's where it's supposed to be!
I've been on the phone with my dad for 5 minutes and he has already:
insulted my job and my field of work insulted my parenting insulted my son's soccer coach
Beer me.
Hi, are we sisters?
The last time I spoke to my dad on the phone for more than 90 seconds (this time frame includes the birth of DD2, BTW) was for my birthday last June. In which he told me what my birthday present from H was and totally ruined the surprise in between talking about himself. Thanks, Dad.
