My train was cancelled on a day I have to be at work early. I'm on the next train that comes through the station, but I will have to change trains before I get to the city. Trying to decide the route that's least likely to have more delays...
We had the best weekend. I want another day of relaxing before I head back to work!
Back to the grind after 5 days off . At least it was relatively easy getting up at normal time this morning because it's finally light enough that I can run outside before work!
Recently my PMS has been getting worse and worse. The last few months the cramps are terrible, I have breast tenderness and the mood swings are off the charts. The last two cycles I've had night sweats during the first few nights of my period. Am I premenopausal or something because it's I've never really had symptoms like that before. I feel old.
Back to work today after a week off, boo. Luckily I only have to work two days then I'm off on Wednesday. I tried a different kind of granola in my yogurt today and the berries were a little too "freeze-dried tasting" or something. It was weird. I'm going to start logging my food again this week. I already put in breakfast and lunch and it was more than I thought :/.

Once a week or so DD will stop, look very closely at my nose, and in a concerned voice will say, "oh no Momma. Soup on nose." I have no idea what she is referring to and it is starting to make me self conscious lol. She might be saying soap but it sounds more like soup.
She also calls her nipples moles. I haven't corrected her yet.

it was very hectic in our house this morning. I am now at work. Thankfully I have a half day, hopefully I can stay hidden behind my desk all morning....
It was a good weekend. Lots of time outside Saturday. Neighbor girl offered to babysit so dh and I got to go to Costco alone!! Sunday we went to Build A Bear and then dd had a fairy photo shoot. I bought the session from groupon last November! It was so cute. Can't wait for the pics. Then out to dinner.
It's supposed to rain all day today. Ds has his Cub Scout crossover picnic today and of course it's outside at a park, not sure what they are going to do.
Oh, and this picnic is a pot luck, no big deal I just got a big veggie tray, then last night I get an email that each pack is responsible for a specific thing and our pack is doing desserts!? They couldn't let us know that a bit sooner than the night before?
Yesterday's run started out AWESOME, then it got hotter and hotter and it all went to shit. Literally. I had to stop a couple of times to hit the bathroom and it ruined my time- and I think it would have been a PR! : ( I'm so upset. And my stomach still doesn't feel right this morning.
Lesson learned- don't run in the winter or cooler early morning temps and then expect to do well on a run in 80 degree weather. Womp womp.
Luckily Ollie did much better in his run last night! Those kids runs are adorable : )
So not thrilled about being at work today. The weekend went way too fast - the shore was fun-ish, but it was cold on Saturday and we weren't there long enough yesterday to enjoy the warm weather. Plus L was kind of a bear around her cousin, and the motel we stayed in was so, so not kid-friendly. I shouldn't complain, though, because it was nice just to be there, and L slept way better than we'd been expecting. I am really, really looking forward to going back in two weekends with just H.
H and I watched The Way Way Back last night. It was so good, but Steve Carrell played SUCH an asshole.
I didn't sleep well last night. It was just slightly to warm in our bedroom. I don't think I got more than two hours at a time. I feel like I have a newborn again. Days like this, I wish I liked coffee.

I'm a single mom, my son has been up every day before 6am for the last year! I run in a constant state of exhaustion, its 8:30 and he is still sleeping. Yesterday would have been an awesome day for this kiddo!
I am sitting having coffee ALONE at a patio right now. I'm going with Sophia's class to their swimming lessons this morning but we are only leaving in 45 minutes.
I posted my final marks this weekend. I got a student email already: "with the amount of studying I did and the great comprehension of the audit risk model I demonstrated, I refuse to believe I only got 47%." DUDE. 47%. Perhaps your comprehension wasn't as great as you thought? (I know, I'm an asshole for laughing at my poor failing student)
Six 12-13 hour days last week followed by a packed weekend, and I am dragging this morning. I hate starting the week feeling like this.
I ironed the placket on my shirt with a flatiron this morning because I was too lazy to get out the iron and take the shirt off. It worked surprisingly well!
DS sings all.the.time now. It's adorable, but I think I'm going to lose my mind if I hear one more improvised rendition of Twinkle, Twinkle.
I haven't been to work in 11 days and it's my first day back after vacation. It is going to be rough. My timing is off and I feel like I should be getting ready to end the day instead of just starting it. Womp womp.
I brought a cold back from Paris, it is my least favorite souvenir.

I would still take the veggie tray. If everyone got the word late like that maybe someone else that "wasn't supposed to" picked up a dessert LOL.

LOL. I did this last week, too, with two brown sandals.
I just dropped Leo off at his first day of big boy daycare. He couldn't even be bothered to say good bye. Then I cried all the way to my to my parking lot. My baby is growing up.
We had a good weekend! Date night on Friday with H. We went to a concert and had dinner at an old college stomping ground. It made us feel old but it was so fun. DS had his first kid pitch baseball game on Saturday. They're all so cute. And then I saw The Crucible with friends that night. Yesterday we slept in and got a bunch of mulch and edging bricks for the garden. Unloading a pallet of mulch counts as my exercise for the weekend, lol.
We are going to the Twins game tonight - our friend bought us tickets because he collects bobbleheads and it's bobblehead night. I can't decide what I will eat while we're there! The food is the best part of a Twins game!

This happened to me for my HM last year. I did train in the summer but the race was at the end of September. Typically it starts cooling down here around the end of August. And it did. But then race day is was 90 degrees. Totally through me off. I'm sorry your race didn't go as well as you wanted
I agree about the kid runs though, they are super cute!
We had such great weather yesterday, we were outside all afternoon, it was fun! Slept with the window open last night, missed that during the winter.
Rainy & gloomy this morning, made getting up hard to accomplish. But we had a sorta drama free drop off for Morgan and I was actually on time for work!
I have my ENT appointment today and of course the ringing in my ears is gone today. I'm still going to go to my appointment, but man, I knew it was going to stop before I had my appointment.
