I wish to set a 6am rule for the birds outside my bedroom windows too. I now regret having used the birds-chirping alarm clock for the last 3 years, because now when I hear the real birds at 4:30 my brain is like MORNING TIME! NO SNOOZING!
I have birds waking me up too. One has a particularly annoying sound. I'm considering going Betty Draper on it
(sarcasm for anyone who was about to get all offended)

I don't let the kids out on our deck earlier than 8am, weekday or weekend. They're kind of screechy so I'm uncomfortable with anything earlier than that.

Now that my toddler is finally sleeping until 7am (so we all sleep until 7am, adults included) it's refreshing to not be the first car at the Target parking lot waiting for the doors to open on Saturday morning. And surprisingly, we still get everything done that we need.
Lol, you 7am people are crazy! I don't get up that early on work days.
I realize not everyone is up at that time. I just don't think it is my problem.
ETA: to clarify, I don't expect you to be quiet at 8pm either when my kids are in bed. Different people have different schedules, and noise between 7am and 9pm is to be expected.
