this is impressive. Does it have to be walking running or can it be biKing? I would love to do it but I can't do it for 60 days as mid June I am having a procedure done and will probably need 5 to 7 days recovery time

The goal is for me to do as much as possible. I do t know if I'm at this level either. But I need something. Today it's going to be challenging to get it in, I have a meeting, PT, and about an hours drive to get home. I also need to eat. I'll do my best though,
I'm also going to try to break up the miles. A few in the AM and s few in the pm.
I'm relieved that others are marveling at how many miles that is. I was afraid my badass was officially missing because there's no way I could do that in the foreseeable future.
Go get it, ironman! Wouldn't be the first time you've impressed the hell out of all of us
This is a sure fire way to get me to hate running. LOL I will cheer you on, though.
It's not so much the weekly or monthly mileage. (I know that many people on this board have had monthly mileage a good bit higher when we've been marathon training)....but good god, I need a break. Mentally, I need a break. I love running, but I enjoy a day off to bike or just do some other type of exercise. It's a long time without a break.
I'm clearly just not the right target for streaker challenges, but I think it's great if other people love it!

You and me both. Even those one mile a day for 30 days is too much for me, I need at least one complete rest day a week.
Well I already failed! Lol! I had s meeting and pt last night and my mom called and told me grandma fell again. She fractured her pelvis and her 4th vertebrae. It doesn't look good. I was so upset last night. I'll pick it back up tonight and do the best I can.

I would love to do this, but with taper for my marathon next weekend and then recovery after, there's no way right now. If you want to try again I would be up for it with accountability in a couple weeks.
I could not possibly fit in that many 6 mile runs in a week. I don't think my body could handle it anyway. I tried running three days in a row and my body said, "itsme, you're crazy!" and punished me by being achy.

Clearly I can't either! I gave up! I still want to try to do as many 6 milers as I can!
So sorry about your grandma joenali. And sorry you have had an early set back - I'll be cheering you on. I wish I had the time, schedule and energy for a daily 6 miler. Keep us posted on how you get on!

Definitely do what you can. Even every other day is impressive!
