My kiddos are getting close to out growing their infant seats. DS is 2 inches away from the height requirement as he's 90th percentile for height so I feel like we'll get to 30 inches very soon.
My top choices right now are the Britax Marathon or Boulevard and the Diono Radian.
Does anyone know if there are any good sales coming up soon as cost of purchasing 4 convertible car seats makes me want to puke.
I usually purchase from albeebaby since they almost always have good prices.
I second Albee Baby. Sometimes the seats on sale are not the prettiest of colors (I hate the puke-green color of one of our Nextfits) but I bought it for about $200 on Albee Baby whereas the cheapest I could get elsewhere was at least $30 more. Ultimately, cost won out over prettiness.
How long do you plan to RF? If beyond 2, you should look at the Clicktight Britax seats (in addition to the Radians). The other Britax models have pretty short RF limits.
I got my Radians (100s and 120s) under $200 each on Amazon and at Kohls with sales/coupons.
I'd like to rear face as long as I can so was looking at the clicktights.
Is space an issue? We have small cars and have our Radians side by side, which I love. If this wasn't the case I'd probably get the Clicktights...because they're pretty
Not really, I have a Honda Pilot and DH has a Nissan Murano.
We're also toying around with the idea of getting a less expensive seat for DH's car, but it seems like all the reviews say they are difficult to install and to adjust the straps.

This is what we're doing. I already got Graco myride 65 I think? For my car. But for H's truck we plan to get Evenflo Sureride. A friend of mine has them and said they're big but hasn't had any issues. He won't be driving them daily so I was fine getting $100 seats.
If you join the Car Seat Deals group on FB, they have all kinds of info on sales and coupons and non-advertised deals. That is how I got big discounts on all of our seats (Target randomly marked down the Milestone one day and also had a Graco coupon - I never would have known without that group). Target generally clearances around June or July, I think.
Albeebaby is also great - they have MySize and Headwise seats for $150, and those seats will last a long time (both RFing and FFing) and are still fairly easy to install/don't have very twisty straps.
You can also check the growth charts, but I think a 90th percentile boy will hit 30 inches around 10 months, so you have some time to shop.
Thanks, I just requested to join the car seat deals group!
